I couldn't resist doing a collab with him

Here's me doing a colour collab.




Just a little curious. I've had other people request some audio commentary. I was thinking of doing some for my next video (when ever that comes round....).
What would you like to see? or talk about.

Did you want it be just drawing or just colouring or the whole thing?
What tools I use?

Throw me some questions.. I'd really like some feedback so I can put together a video that I would be really happy to share.

Cool project. It is interesting how you did the coloring. So you laid down shading in gray scale then did another layer of solid color over it with layer blending?

yeah. I find I need to do things in steps.
create form first. Do another pass for depth (pushing back stuff further).
then Base colour.. then adjust saturation again for depth.

I've actually find better to skip highlights in the grey scale.. and just do it in colour near the end.

I see. I might have to try that. I usually try and just mix each color as if I were doing a painting.
