Shadow Chronicles question

I have yet to see the Shadow Chronicles and I wanted to know if all the Dark Cyclones and Alphas that CM are selling are from SC? If not, what are they from?

It could be argued that they are from Shadow Chronicles (since there are a few additional colour schemes seen in the film). But I would guess the CMs toys are intended to be "inspired" by the implied "new" Legioss and Cyclones that came to the rescue at the end of the orginal series - the "Shadow Alphas" as it were. I don't recall seeing "Shadow Cyclones" at the end of the Robotech but since we know the Cyclone is standard-equipment collapsed and stored inside a Legioss/Alpha, then I suppose it makes sense to assume that corresponding purple-colour Cyclone was in each of those incoming fighters.

As a much more boring reason however: those CMs toys are Mospeda toys and not Robotech toys so CMs probably doesn't have a license to do Robotech toys... Just a guess.

Shadow Chronicles was kinda lame... why didn't they just stick to the books?
