Decided to start a thread about Bandais ba$t*rd step child sister company Banpresto and thier efforts with gundam fantasy series. First Ill start with Gundam Knight prize items!
Im not sure how you get these "prizes" in JP but I got mine through HLJ. Banapresto usually relases two figures every other month. Its either two of the same figure with different accesories or a two figures that compliment eachother. In this case its two of the same one with a lance and the other with sword and shield. The first batch was metallic colored then later they released another set. First figure was a combination of lance and shield but flat coloring was used. Then they released "sacred Item set" first time released the set just contained the flame sword and green shiled (think knight gundam was included) second release had same weapons plus new armor set, however base Knight gundam is required to complete since new armor requires legs and arms.
Its a pretty cool set and reasonably priced at aroudn $15. The figures themselves are quite poseable and stand a little over 3" and made of ABS from what i can tell. I was very surprised at the articulation these had and are capable of some stylish poses due to the angled hip pegs for the legs.
Ill do some more shots at some point with more varried poses.
Also, each set has a horse (sold seperately) which knight gundam can ride in either form. The horse is well articulated and stands well on his own too while Knight rides!
Only drawbacks, the figures could do with some panel lining and the weapons are pretty flimsy and suspect to bending.
