Popy doesn't have this Kamen Rider V3 Chogokin figure. I am his superfan. I invited my friend to sculpt some parts for me. Then I combined these parts with another old Chogokin figure to make it a new Kamen Rider V3 Chogokin. The following is the process of how I made this..... 1.This was the 'unlucky' old Chogokin figure... 2. These are the parts being sculpted by my friend..... 3. The product... 4. Only the head remained.

Damn, kitsir - that is absolutely phenominal!! Truly killer piece. Your friend has some amazing sculpting skills. My only problem with this is calling it a Popy custom toy. Its based on the Takatoku Bibyun. Just bustin' your balls. Seriously, that is freaking awesome!! But didn't Popy make a Kamen Rider figure? I don't recall ever seeing one, but TBDX has it listed in their datafiles as GA-76. I couldn't find anything more about it on the web. Was this never produced? Its strange because they definitely made a Kamen Rider Popinica motorcycle ( toyboxdx.com/datafiles/data/popy_data/pa/pa_04.htm ), and early in the toy series, too.

Wow, that is some great work. Wish I had the skills to do such a job (or even a friend who could do it). Thanks for showing.

Maybe I can't recall because I keep thinking of the standard Popy body shape of the early figures, rather than the later ones like the Ultraman ( toyboxdx.com/datafiles/data/popy_data/ga/ga95.htm ) or the Masked Rider.

Well, I came across this Kamen Rider (GB-12), but its the Sky Rider: Also, I finally found a pic of the Meisaku Series Kamen Rider 1 (GA-76): www.realdx.com/g/showphoto.php/photo/2385/sortby/f/sorttime/9999/way/ascBut alas, no Kamen Rider V3. Until now...

That looks BADAS!!! Great job on the sculpts, too! I don't mean to make fun of the Kamen Riders, but this one reminds me of a Potato bug! ;D Nonetheless, you did really good picking up where Bandai SLACKED OFF. zozo-magengar
