Just got my Getter Dragon tattoo. Sorry for the shiny picture but this was the night after I got it so it's still healing and covered in aquaphor. I will post new pics in a week when it's all healed. The illustration was done by Sizzlak (here on Root Japan -- Thanks!!!) and the tattoo work was done by Josh at Redemption Tattoo in Cambridge MA. I used the new Getter Dragon design from GX-51 but colored it with the classic Getter Robo G colors. Once healed the shading and colors should really jump out.

nice dude~ It already looks great pre-shading. I've seen how that's helps add the final look. Congrats

That is really Awesome tat work there; I see the tattoo artist took special care to reproduce that image perfectly... ...many tattoo artists aren't too familiar with this genre (Japanese super-robots) and they assume to try to make it look as Sick as possible thus taking away from the original authentic look of the character. Once that tat is all healed up it's gonna look Badass! Ten thumbs up!

Luckily Josh (the tattoo artist) grew up watching Force Five like me.
