Yup it lights up but no sound, Captured Prey will be providing batteries for the second run of this figure. tnx! its nice to know, im convinced to get this one, btw is there a way to put his rubber tubing under arm like the G1 toy? why they put it over his arm? or the arms can be rotated? does it have some die casts parts? do u consider this as a MP shockwave already?? |

Yup it has diecast, the silver on the side of the legs and feet are metal. Like I said it's heavier then MP-10 while being smaller so that should tell you it's a solid piece. I do consider this MP quality and in fact compared to some it's even higher. The second run will come with extra hands and gun that will not be transparent and be more solid looking, I think you have to pay like $2 for it. The next figure after this will I THINK come with a optional arm with the hose underneath the arm. Like the hands you will have to change it yourself though. I like the look of the hose over the arm, it looks like the Dreamwave version.

Put a clear con symbol on mine  nice! but for me ill put that logo on his arms just like the one in the cartoons, he has 2 destron logos there. |

yup got this pre-ordered for awhile, I've got 12 Seekers, Soundwave, Shockwave, the upcoming tapes and Nemesis Prime and now this Sixshot. My Autobots are looking like their in trouble lol .

I like the tapes but I can't wrap my head around the price. If they were around $30 for each set I would get them.

Oh yeah, it has more diecast then most MP's and the build quality it top notch. It's just a really good figure that's nice a solid. Get one if you can because I don't see a MP Shockwave coming for a long time. just ordered one yesterday based on your feedback  initially wanted to pass, but the mere mention of more diecast than mp nailed it for me ;D but was told have to wait a bit for the second wave to be released  |

I like the look and was interested till I found out its to small to display with my MP's if it was 9-10" then I would get it but as is it would go great with Classic, Generations, etc figures.

But you should be happy plus with the second run depending on where you got it you'll get the optional hands and gun tip. It really is a very solid release and makes me wonder how their version of Soundwave would have been like. |

^ It probably would've been a very solid release, but judging from the pre-release pictures, the Takatomy MP Soundwave is better proportioned and better looking (with the exception of those funky crotch joints).

Yeah the look of the MP version is better but I bet the Fan Toys one would have been heavier because it probably wouldn't have the chest gimmick and have had more metal. I wonder what their next figure will be? So far they off to a pretty good start.

Just a little heads up for you guys getting Shockwave, mine didn't come with instructions but I just found out you have to pull on the chest to extend the waist lol. So now it has a waist swivel and is also over a quarter inch taller.
