Actually that second one isn't a full stand alone figure, it's the second add-on set to go with the Superion set, TF-CROSSFIRE 02! This time they're making a set to go with either the Energon or movie versions on Bruticus. Can't wait for a good look at this one, they seem to be taking it a step further since you can tell pretty clearly that there's only one helicopter and one tank, meaning some heavy modifications. Probably won't be able to get this one as cheap as the last.

I wasn't digging the design of the base Nova Prime at all, really, but that Trailer/Super Mode changes everything. It looks REALLY cool, and I like the way it integrates the armor without looking like it's just got a big chunk of kibble tacked onto the back (see also: Movie Prime/Jetfire combo).
This, Robobus, Knight Commander, the Fansproject figs... looks like the independent transformer designer market is starting to take off.
Wow, Nova Prime looks amazing! It'll be hard to resist wanting two of those. Now they have to do a Nemesis Prime! (For those that don't know, Nova Prime was the first Prime to go to the "dark side" and actually change his name to Nemesis Prime. He kinda looks like the Beast Wars Nemesis Prime.)
The "Rumble" project is a surprise. I don't think anyone expected him to turn into a gun. I was sure he'd fold into a box, but I was really hoping he'd be a part of a larger gestalt. Oh well, he should be fairly cheap considering his size and will look good with my Classics Nemesis Prime.
The nova prime is cool ! ! ! Good choice to all of these fan creations (mass producted) to scale to the Henkei line ! It's one of the best Transformers scale (when you want to be completlist, think about the fully loaded shelves), playable in kid's hands (and ours too)...
And this Perfect Effect "Rumble" will be so suitable with the shadow Commander. Maybe FANSPROJECT will propose us a second colored version, the red for Frenzy...
Looks like Nova isn't being mass produced after all. They compare their work to SHE's and point out that SHE's figures can cost around $500 so that should give you an idea of what they'd be asking for this figure. Too bad, I don't think I could go any higher than $150 on a completed figure.
Makes me wonder how Fansproject can do it so relatively "cheap".
Yeah, no kidding. I was talking to a guy about getting some moulds made a year or so ago, and just to get 1 test plate made up was getting close to $2000 (including the 3d work and all). That didn't include test shots of the product, or paying an illustrator/designer. I'm guessing Fansproject somehow owns all or most of the equipment. Or, stuff's just cheaper wherever they are.
