Looks cool, but seeing that it doesn't actually transform it could actually be better. I don't like the parts on the sides that are hiding the shoulder joints or those little bits above them that look like they should be connected to something. It's a pity it can't be disassembled because I've seen other similar customs that can and look just as great.

Awesome Gold! I thought that this time, the armored car mode is cooler than the chopper. A minor nitpick, but I thought that the helicopter's cockpit should've been made of clear parts. Still a very commendable effort, and I hope that they produce other "improved" versions of iconic character.

Great review as always Gold.I have a query ; does it has any diecast content? I'm not Gold, but I'll field this one because I can The chest panel as well as the outer leg plates are diecast. It's not a ton and it's a very subtle application, but it's there.

Considering that the only "official" Transformers that have any amount of diecast is the mega bucks MP's I think Fansproject deserves a huge hazzah!

Considering that the only "official" Transformers that have any amount of diecast is the mega bucks MP's I think Fansproject deserves a huge hazzah! Well, there's also the Titanium line, but quite frankly the less said about that, the better. Also the Binaltech line (good!) and Alternity line (also very good!), but those were/are collector oriented Japanese lines, much like the MP line.

Damn, if they just left it at Frenzy/Rumble these would be easy to pass on, but now...
BTW, the one they're calling Overkill is clearly Ratbat.

I'm so sick of being disinterested in something and then when I finally get around to deciding I want one, it becomes insanely rare! (The Fansproject stuff seems to sit around for months and then just when I decide I want something, they don't even show up on eBay that often)....

I know - BBTS is the place I was thinking of when I posted that last message: the Shadow Commander set was available as a bundle with Nemesis Prime for months... but for some odd reason, I just happened to decided to look it up this past month and it's sold out (I did manage to secure a Nemesis Prime, maybe I'll get one of the other unofficial accessory sets to spruce him up a bit).

Have you tried Robot Kingdom, Ben? They might still have some in stock. Edit: I Checked, and unfortunately, the only ones available are the Magnus and the DIA Commander version... sorry
