It would just look out of place if it's used to replace the encore Fort Max head though. Very nice release, nonetheless.

Head is a bit to big for Fortmax. Maybe PE got a secret plan to propose their own version ? RK just shipped that baby (come to daddy !). It is so detailed : line panels, colors filled and shape are matching perfectly and define well Transformers design chart (my opinion)  Bonus : details under shell :  |

I can't wait til mine gets in (although I'm going to have to). I love the design of a head alt mode - I'm glad that they made that the primary alt mode; a giant head is something utterly unique in a sea of transforming cars, tanks and space jets in my collection.

I am trying to transform now in head mode : notice guide is detailed and explain well how to transform.
Quality of this toy is Masterpiece grade. Plastic and paints apps on top.
This is so far one of the best transformers I got in my collection.
Perfect Effect made a perfect homerun -> this gives me the envy to collect the PE-DX02 Arranea Motobot.
Now I really hope PE to try something great : a PE Fortmax !
Maybe a combiner crew will be the best : several releases to obtain a big scale TF piece...
(I also received my FP Diesel : nice but stay in shadow because of this Warden).

I have the PE-DX02 and I like it, but I don't think it will stand up to Warden. Its a very light toy, with some peg issues. The peg issues are a simple fix with a little sanding, but it is worth being aware of. It looks good though, and is interesting. I am certainly making a list of things to sell just so I can get Warden. I don't know why but his bot mode just seems about perfect to me. Mine from the action toy thread.  |

Warden is a great figure ! Price is okay for a figure with all of these top rank qualities :
lots of paint apps and colored plastic parts (and materials), joints, diecast, design, transformation, solidity...
And yes, having a big TF head is nice on desk, no need to a G1 Fortmax. I do not try yet to transform in tank mode.
Seriously, this release beats any official AND 3rd Party figures (except Fanstoys which is on the same train).
Price is USD 119 and kill any FP last releases : X-Functions are in the same category with design (and Headmaster line),
but far away from Warden quality. Imo, this 2 line matchs perfectly together for any Headmaster fan
and or a good display case. I really recommand this figure and watching closely what's next from Perfect Effect.
They made a huge step forward : once again, 3rd Party companies are kicking hard (Hasbro says hello ?).

A member over at TFW who works for Fantoys says that their Jetfire will probably be between 2-250$ which isn't to bad considering it's size.
