Both look good. I think the package set is the way to go.

Not really Shaolin (that would be a bald monk), but more like an Ancient Chinese General Prime. Very interesting.

I got the GCreations Thunderous (third party Brachiasaur dinobot) today. He's neat. He's a bit rough, he definitely feels like a toy company's first go at a figure. He's an odd mix of huge thick plastic chunks and mega-thin plastic hinges. He feels really sold except for a few places where I'm honestly worried he'll break someday (shoulder area where the dino-head clips in, swing hinge that the tail is on). He's got a beautiful candy apple red and magenta finish. One thing I didn't realize or expect is that all of the "black" plastic is actually a dark brown color. I kind of wish they had gone full black instead, but it's a little thing. He's also super ridiculous. When he's loaded down with all of his stupidly huge guns (which he has no problems mounting all over his body or in his hands thanks to good balance, huge feet, and tight joints) it's hard not to smile looking at how over the top he is. I haven't even turned him into leg mode yet. I have to leave something for when I get home

And this is my most recent 3rd party addition to my TF collection. I like it. Build could of been better though. There are quite a bit of stress and sprue marks and some minor paint imperfections. Also some tabs need to lock in better. The transformation wasn't overly complicated and it looks good in 3 all modes. Each modes though does have cons. Vehicle mode, there is a gap when you look at it from the top. Not to bad though and is better than the official Hasbro's Deluxe version of FoC OnSlaught. In Robot mode, the legs and feet could be better. The way that the lower leg tab into the thighs doesn't lock in as good or tightly as I would like it to be. To much kibble in the way on the shoulder too. In combined mode, Swindle feet part just suck. The fist connection to Vortex also sucks. Parts need to fit better and stay on more securely. Also, the torso looks good from the back with lots of detail parts. Not so much when you move down and see the Swindle. The whole upper part of Bruticus is solid, although the side chest plate could get in the way of the arms. The legs balance needs some improvement. But for MBC first release, I say it well worth it. Much more screen accurate version of FOC Bruticus. Improvement parts for both Swindle and Brawl. And the OnSlaught figure is nicely engineered. I enjoy the transformation process.

Gotta admit, Mr. Warby looks very impressive. But, I'll stick to MakeToys, FansProject, and FansToys for now.

Preorders are up for BadCube's Wardog. $120 USD is the going rate.

I'm ordering wardog, but it's a bit hesitantly due to my continued inability to get replacement parts for my defective Brawny and Backland. Hopefully Wardog is better designed with less thin, snappable metal plates. :/

Prebooked this guy! I read somewhere that he is made with thicker panels then their Brawn and Outback. I would really like to see more pics of Wardog with some Masterpiece TFs.

Great sculpt. MakeToys continues to push the envelope, IMO.
