You know, the more I look at the PROTECTOR add on for Rodimus, the more I get confuse with the new arm attachments. Now that I have a Classics Rodimus, after getting the new triple pack, it seems like you would need to remove the forearms or something. I keep looking at the picture of the back and it just seems like you have to get rid of the door and forearm. The top of original arm becomes the new shoulder but were are they hiding the rest of it. Now, where the hell is my Bruticus add on set. It's been two weeks and nothing. Everyday, I go to this forum and the other two Transformers site hoping they spread the word that the sets are on it way.

I am getting the Rodimus kit as soon as it comes out. But I am ready for the Bruticus upgrade kit now. They are taking forever. I feel you, I went home and got a great surprise. My Bruticus set is here. I need to get the Upgrade Kit. Hoping to hear some good news tomorrow. They were suppose to be release the first week of August. Any news at all? I know I'm not the most patient person in the world, but sheesh! This is getting me more than a little antsy. Protector will be mine! |

The arms are still there, they're going straight off the back of the new arms. If you look at the back view you can see the hands and minisaw. But you already have the three pack? Ordered it at robotkingdom. Three pack was shipped last week to the online retailers. Couldn't wait for local store to carry them since there isn't any confirmation saying that it will be a target or TRU exclusive.
Yeah, fiddling around with the Rodimus, seems like the protector add ons will only give him about an inch or so in height, and doesn't beef him up much. Still gonna be relatively small in comparison to Ultra Magnus.

So... Any news about Bruticus add-on shipping launch ?... Nope - none - zip - nada. The complete lack of any knid of updates from FP is driving me crazy. It was supposed to be out in August but it is getting close to the end of the month and I am getting worried aobut another delay. Seems like we would have heard someting by now. |

That's a adult hand that's holding the devastator arm. Looks bigger than your nornal 20 oz bottle. And that's just the arm. It'll be at least 2 and a half feet tall and most classis/henkei will only be at this guys knee caps in height.

TFClub is the name of the company  . They're different from the Transformers Collector's Club who put out limited (but official) production toys like the recent classics punch/counterpunch. You wont have to join anything to buy this  |

Anybody else pre-order Perfect Effect's "Demolitions Shadow Warrior?" The the Rumble/Frenzy "guns" have been repainted back to the black version but this time has some extra bits to connect to the Fansproject "Shadow Commander" kit in trailer mode. Mine shipped today from BBTS.
Speaking of BBTS, some other goodies arrived in the mail. I got Perfect Effect's "God Sword" (in Nemesis colour of course). And also the BST Toys trailer (also in black). I've spent the evening photographing it but it may be a few more days before I get around to posting a full blog entry to review them... not that this is a priority since they're older releases.

I really wish someone could design a masterpiece style devastator that didn't require add-on parts  . This is cool and all, but the hand is clearly an extra piece that has nowhere to go in vehicle or robot mode (you can see it off to the side in one of the transformed pictures). One of the main reasons I never had much of an interest in the original G1 combiners like Devastator was because you just had a random "hips and legs!" piece that you had to have on hand to put them together. It doesn't feel right, you know? Oh well. It'll be interesting to see how this pans out. I hope they don't stay too slavishly devoted to the art for devastator's head, though. Call me a heretic, but Devastator's anime head is uuuuuuugleh.  |
