There's not much happening here at work today so I hopped on my bike and headed down to the Toys R Us here in Oxford. And there I found shelves full of Transformers goodies. just inside the door I found stacks of the G2 Prime and Megtron R.I.D. repaints (Bludgeon and Scourge) for a tenner each. Never having been a fan of how these two moulds looked I picked them up never the less, just out of curiosity (having got them back to the office and opened them, not sure if I can recommend them. They seem very flimsy). Beside these, and indeed over at the proper Transformers shelf, were stacks of the G1 Power Master Prime\Apex Armour re-issue reduced to £29.99! And they still have the "buy Power Master Op and get Aubot Jazz free" deal going, so a huge bargain for thirty quid (if you don't have these guys already) Jazz himself ws reduced to £14.99 while Starscream was down half price to £9.99. What a wicked find this would be to someone who hadn't already got these guys (the stuff dreams are made of). However this severe price slashing and the huge amount of stock sitting on the shelves can only mean bad things as regards future G1 re-issues in the UK.

We get the the same slash price here though the only thing left is armada megatron no G1 re-issue at all

Saw some of those deals myself - I am tempted by the Power Master Prime and the price isn't so bad, especially not with the free Jazz. My only concern though is how much of a brick he actually proves to be - as it is he looks a bit too blocky for my tastes.

Maybe after Christmas.

Let me just say, Power Master Prime\God Ginrai rocks. It's got tonnes of playability wrapped up in it's cardboard packaging. Buy it NOW!!!!
(that said, I love sturdy Blockiness).
