Here is Bandai's latest RD installment, Gundam Unicorn. I really love the design on Unicorn and kinda dig the normal version versus the destroy version so I was pretty happy for this. Bandai made a lot of improvements in this RD installment however, the PVC content is much higher than other RD side MS's. Pretty much everything besides the torso area and part of the arms are PVC. Maybe a bad move when the figure is all white....... hopefully there will be no yellowing issues later on. He also is lacking the bazooka and removable ammo clips found in other versions. What he does have, is tons of articulation gimmicks. He has added movement in the shoulders, legs, and torso. What's cool about this as these improvements are completely noticeable right out the box, you actually have to extend those sections and he still looks awesome. It also makes him almost as tall as his 1/144 buddy un-extended extended The extended sections increases mobility exceptionally and a wide range of poses are possible. He also comes with clear glittered sabers........ooooo pretty...... actually I think this is a first for Gundam So is RD unicorn better then SHCM version?? NO, but it's a heck of a lot cheaper lol I wish this is what's in store for future RD Gundam but probably not. At least Destroy version will have them.......... errr I hope, that will make him very tall. So if you wanted unicorn but don't have the time or skill to fuss with the models, and don't want to break the bank on the SHCM- pro or the upcoming MC GFF, the RD Unicorn is perfect for you!

Nice variety of pics, MMJ, but damn, without the various warning labels and the clear beam sabers, the RD Unicorn looks like an unfinished model!

Thanks!
Yeah the fact that hes all white, the lack of detail does definitely show, however since his primarily pvc you can add panel lines which would help...... still fun to play with though lol

Terrific photos MMJ! I agree that the RD version is very plain in appearance...too plain for my tastes but I guess you don't have to worry about rubbing off any tampo printing while handling it.
