Nice update Myles! The D-17 Sub Machine looks cool. I like all the details of the toy. Your D-17 diecast collection looks pretty complete. I just have a little tip for your fotos Myles. A simple sheet of black or white cardboard will upgrade your fotos and the toys look even better.  You only have to place the cardboard on a wall etc and you have a mini-foto-studio. I do it the same way, I don't even use special lighting for most of the fotos. Here's a example (took me 3 minutes). Put D-17 on the cardboard, focus on toy...click...foto ready. I think when the toy has a "neutral" background it looks even better. But Myles, cardboard or not, I love your fotos and reviews. Hope you don't understand me wrong  Stephan |

Thanks, Stephan. But I prefer to photograph these on my floor surrounded by hair from my wife and dogs, with dust bunnies, DVDs, and other junk in the background. I've been holding off doing anything nice because, well, I'm just a lazy sh_t. But If I'm going to be putting in the effort to put photos up on the website, I suppose the least I could do is take decent photos. Fine, then. You harassed me into changing my style. Now I gotta get my arse to a craft store. See what you made me do?!?! ;D |

Nice toy. Pretty nifty trick with the 'copter blade hidden inside there. I like it. edit: and dont worry about what color paper or lighting you have. Your photo's are fine - we cant all have shots like chogoman  |

The test shot looks great Myles! So back to the Sub Machine. I only have the mini plastic Sub Machine that comes with the Popy Ga-81 D-17 DX. I thought I make some macro fotos of it. You don't see that little plastic piece often from that perspective  "open the garage door"  "wine gum sub machine"  "broaaaar" |
