Just came across this awesome vid with both intros and the first outro.
That first intro is still one of my all time fave anime intros. Love that song!

That looks much better than Go Bots. I just picked up Creeper Jeeper at a flea market in good shape.

Awesome! Jeeper Creeper is one of the best designs imo. Excellent alt mode, cool bot mode, nice articulation. Very cool man.

I just won a NIB Zybot on ebay. Hopefully it gets to me alright. I'll post pics when it gets here. I think I might go back to the flea market next week. I am on a gobot run.

The Zybot I won is on in this link. Its the Semi and trailer. I did not know they were combiners though. See the bottom image. The truck may look cheesy to some, but its nostalgia for me. It was one of the few robots I had as a kid. www.geocities.jp/sijimiya_konoha/hobby_kako_top65.htm

I had a bootleg jeepers creepers when I was a kid - traded it with a genuine Bandai Zero (doh!) . Due to the quite) complex leg transformation, the legs gradually became so loose that it couldn't stand. As far as I remember, he was the only MR/Gobot that has a weapon.

Have you guys checked out the newer Machine Robo Rescue toys? I just got a couple of the combiner sets in the mail today. Jet Robo is a revamped and larger version of the original (Fitor in GoBotese, my favorite one) and Stealth Robo is his nemesis (and a stelath bomber, der!). All four limbs are identical drones, but they're incredibly fun to assemble and mess around with. It's incredible how they capture the look and soul of the original Machine Robo toys in every way, right down to being durable little bricks that can survive trips through the toybox, the sandbox, a pocket full of melted chocolate and a collision with a cousin's head. I just wish the line had lasted longer.

Nice score - I really dig both Screwhead and Dive Dive. Yeah, Gobot toy collecting is an awesome pursuit in that there's a fair amount of second hand supply on the market and it tends to be inexpensive. With a little time and monetary commitment, getting a startup collection in good shape can happen really fast. Cheers, Coldiron!

Aren't there also a drill robot and police / rescue vehicle sets?
Looks like the red fighter core robot has some diecast in him. Is it only limited to the upper legs?

Jet Robo (red one) core fighter has diecast in the upper legs and most of the torso. The purple guy only has diecast in the upper legs. Here's some of the other sets: www.toysnjoys.com/mrr.htmlMost of the line looks fantastic. It's just too bad some of them are so hard to find.

Neat! So actually, there are also the fire truck set, helicopter set and submarine set, which makes a total of 7 combiner team!
I never knew that the core robots have diecast content, just like the original MR counterparts.

I got my Zybot today. I got it for .99 plus shipping on ebay. It was NIB, however the seller must be new to the game. It took him a week to send it, then he sent it priority in a large box with no packing material, so the figure came loose from the blister pack. Nothing was damaged, but if I was the type to keep things in the package I would not have been happy. He paid 15 bucks to ship it, he could have easily put it in a smaller box and saved money and I would have been happier, though I was just happy to find one complete and in good shape. I think I might contact him, not to be mean but to just give some tips on selling via ebay. He only had a feedback of 4 so I knew I was taking a risk. Anyhow, on to the pics. Zybots was even less popular than Gobots, and most of them were pretty ugly, however this was one of the few bots I had as a kid. And while it is weird, it is neat and nostalgic. Here in the shots is the Spychanger TF Nemesis Prime for comparison.
