This figure is from the series "Garo," again, I know nothing of it though a friend of mine gave me the first 4 episodes i have yet to check it out, though he says its very good. This is another spin off line from the SIC. So you are to expect super high detail and beauty hear, and limited articulation. (a lot more so with these figures as they cant do much beyond standing poses). First we have the base figure, which I assume is Dan. Very detailed especially in the face. Legs are very restricted due to his outfit, however. He comes with a white spear and an assorment of changeable hands. In any case the figure is throw away for me since i dont care for human figs much, espeically realistic looking one. Chainging him into Goruba is done by swaping out the arms, legs, and head completely. You mus also remove the tunic outfit which is a real pain since its stuck on really tight. The figure is highly detailed and very beautiful! One other cool gimmick you get with garo figures is one of the jewlery props (and thus where all the diecast is included, life size too). This figure comes with a very functional bracelet that matches the one he wears in the show. Now,if i was into this kind of stuff, I wouldnt mind wearing it. Not sure how well it stands up though to day to day wearing, not to mention there are thousand dollar versions of these out there too...... ill stick with the freebees. In the end, its what you excpet from SIC type characters and this one is very nice indeed. HLJ still has some in stock, these figures are very difficult to come by otherwise.
