Awesome vid, Ed. Its really cool to see them out like that.
Funny about the Maz SOC lot. That was actually me that bid that all the way up (among several other auctions that I invariably lost). I thought that that lot was going to be the steal of the auction, especially with the extremely low estimate. I was hoping that most people following the auction were vintage collectors who just didn't know their stuff. Well, unfortunately, at least one other watcher was familiar with this. Eventually, I just had to back off.
So whose voice was that in the background?

Nice shelf scanning ED! Glad I got to see that in person. So much lovely stuff in one place. Too bad the diecast didn't get the more open space/ upright sitting treatment, that all the tin stuff got.
The voice sounds like Timothy (ZamboAce) who drove solo from Cincinnatti, OH. Cool to meet him too.

Great vid Ed. I was sorely tempted by the getter G base, but with the messed up description online and no pics showing any accessories, I had to pass (and it sounds like that was a good thing )

magengar yes, it is bad for your health to view @ KB, funny to hear that you looked at the new stuff. It was still a pretty good price considering the retail prices...but if you won..... the wife @repairtech I do think it was him, yes. Zamboace knew his stuff and it was nice to visit. @ BT. You were lucky to back off on the Getter set. I can't imagine the reaction to pay top dollar for a dud

Congrats to you. Glad to see you're happy with your purchase. Its surely one of the best (IMO) bases out there.

Nice, tommy_aku. I wanted it for a box upgrade only, but didn't realize it would come with the mini ships - or may have looked harder. Did you ask Morphy's about the base condition, or you take a chance on it?
Edit: And agreed with Kingboyd, it is my favorite of the bases.

I just managed to snag a loose one on YJ. Pretty psyched to finally own this piece! But now I have to track down some of the accessories.

KingboyD: Thanks, for me too this Base is beautiful, along with the Laboratory Saotomè are two best Bases Popy; bt1: I asked but nobody answered me. So I decided to take a risk and I was fortunately. With this Base I finally completed my Getters family (16 toys).

Congrats on completing the set. I have a long way to go to complete Getter family - I concentrate on all bases first. Want a good Saotome Lab badly

-Glad you guys liked the vid. It was pretty awful to have to strain and see all the hidden toys @ auction. Oh well. I hope they went to good homes
