MAG or massive action game is an online shooting game exclusively for the ps3.
the game will be out on disk on january 26 (i think) and beta testing started hour ago. but the servers are now into maintenance.
its a lot of fun playing as one of the 250+ players and try to defend or attack a certain area.
i was sometimes airdropped or respawed on the battlefield and i get to fight right away with a lot of team players.
beta testing will only be for 1 week and you can download the game on the ps3 for free now.

here is the official game site forums.mag.com/mag/the beta game i tested is smooth with very clear graphics, reminded me of cod modern warfare, same controlls so its muscle memory for me as a shooter player. its still beta so i can still see glitches like someone running while on the prone (lying flat on his stomach), and frequent disconnection, but aside from that its very smooth. i did not experience any lag while playing. i love being a sniper. after sometime, someone will shout SNIPEEEEERS! hehehe, you can also help rescue your team mates that were bleeding to death, you can hear them cry out for help. im looking forward till the servers comes back online again. ;D |

Figured I'd give it a go. Since I'm not well-versed in the art of FPS I did have some probs with navigating the maps and my controls, but I have a feeling that with a bit more practice I can get on a good streak in no time....maybe!LOL! Anyways I'm at work now and prolly won't be able to play untill late tonight, but I'm gonna try the Raven PMC again since that's the character I created. Lemme know any recommendations. And thx for the forum link!  EDIT: Oh yeah..... impressions..... Graphics were really cool, and from what I saw seemed to stack up pretty well with, say, Killzone2 or CODMW2. |
