@ Zamboace:
Yep. I'll post pics as soon as I have all my MCs built.
I'll be in a better room/environment when I've moved
to Puerto Rico... that way I can setup an area for
working on my toys and customs, and photographing
them for posting pics here.
@ Repairtechjohn:
The box art for these MCs are really awesome--
I get tempted to cut the fronts out and frame them! ;D
But, Nah... I'll keep the boxes intact and display
them with the completed models.
Climate-wise, upstate NY in the middle of Winter isn't
really a good time to paint models. Factors to consider
are the climate outside versus the climate indoors:
if the room is too warm, humidity is eminent and it
could have some effect on the paint process.
Summers up here are also a hassle because it gets
very humid, and that also will affect the paint process.
In Puerto Rico, the climate is mild all year round.
The "coolest" it ever gets there is between 55-60
degrees at night between the months of December
and February, which is the Rain season.
During the hotter months throughout the year it
does get quite humid, but I'll be living by the coast
where it's mostly breezy; and I'll also have some
AC to control the climate inside my room so the
air is a little dry. That should help assist in the
paint process much better.
As soon as I've gathered all of my MCs, I will ship them
to my mom's in Puerto Rico. Once I've arrived and
settled down over there, I will spend my weekends
working on these model kits... I wanna do the best
I can to paint them so they'll look as good as what's
shown on the box art, although not That extreme:
I wanna balance between that appearance and their
true anime appearance somehow; therefore I might
not use as much paint for certain armor parts.
@ Glane21:
The Raideen might be a tough cookie for me, so, yes,
I'll have to be very careful with him. Once he's built
I'll keep him in "humanoid" mode; that way I can finally play
with my MiracleAction DX Raideen in
Godbird mode.
As for the Mazinger MCs, I'm already used to them by
their appearance and armors because I've watched
their series often... I could almost build and paint them
while blindfolded! LOL
The nice thing about building these particular kits is
that I'll have a better visual reference from them when
I model/render them as 3D objects, because I'll then
get to know these robots inside/out armor and all.
