Wow, that's Cool! Something about its smiley face reminds me of Shiro (in the Great Mazinger series) and his robot Robot Junior. ;D

Finally got to watch it - Ed, you're hysterical! Glad you're having so much fun playing with your toys. What's that tune? I dig it.

Heehee! I LOVE that Chokitto ladybug character diecast. The peek-a-boo moves you did with him were spot-on to what the thing looks like it's up to. One of my favorites from Popy. The whole line's wackiness of gimmick features is just hysterical.
I never knew that mother ship popped out into a little brick house, lol.

Very nice. I didn't know the ship had a pop up feature either. Cool!

Glad ya liked it The tune was some random Youtube option, but it seemed to fit well with the photo shoot. Youtube has gotten some sort of technology to remove all music that isn't official ;( . So I use theirs. IT was a lucky fit Yes. I've been slowly opening boxed toys and enjoying them again & sharing the love. Value doesn't necessarily dictate what is enjoyable. For instance each of those guys were $70 or so.

@ joh and BT. YES, the set's pop-up is a bit unexpected. I didn't show the bottom, but there are metal ball bearings that act as ship rollers. Then the entire silver shell is thick diecast; its a heavy setup. If you didn't see it, its worth mentioning that the driver Robodatchi disappears when the pop-up action happens.
