Got myself a Billiken Shokai Great Mazinger from a friend today, bought for 70USD, is it a good buy?... I'm new in tin toy... how much does this tin toy worth ? visiable rust can be seen on the toy.... this toy was made in 1998 Japan. He have Mazinger also,but before buying like to know how much is the market price before commit...

Nice! I'm no tin expert, but I see most of the Billiken 10-13yr. old stuff going for $100-$190 each piece, boxed, all the time, depending on desired piece. Their work is really really nice, and colorful. And great box art too.

I wouldn't pay more than $100 max for any Billiken. Vintage Popy range from $150 - $700.

the billiken tins are great toys, good design and well executed, but are still pretty new, so not very expensive. My favorite one is the Mothra.... beautiful.

Mothra is one of my most coveted tin pieces. Its not that expensive (about $100), so one day hopefully I can snag one.
I have to agree with Jon - I typically sees these sell for at least $100 for the robot figures on ebay. Maybe they're cheaper on Yahoo Japan, but I never really followed them.
Its a nice pickup, borg.
