no from what i hear because it is so small, about half the size of a standard HGUC you get 2 one transformed into a tank and a fully poseable one, i do not think it can transform because it is really tiny. found the picture he is really small.

Very cool if it transforms. If not, would not be interested.

Having finally seen it in action in the Gundam Unicorn OVA, I would love to build a transforming version of this. It's a bloody shame it's unlikely to be transforming (look at the "skirt" - it'd be in the way when it "sits"). At the very least it'd have to be a parts-former at this size. The transformation is so simple too ...why couldn't they make it a transforming kit even so small?

So I got one put together. One of the smallest detailed kits I have ever put together. Maybe could use a little paint to stand out better, but still decent out of the box.

Tiny little kit, but nicely designed. Nice articulation, and the ABS joints are nice and secure. With 2 per pack, you could build up a little army of them without going broke.

I would like to see this design maybe get a MG kit. It might be nice to get a little more detail and bigger size.

Mine have a hard time standing. I wish the kit came with some sort of stand for the figures. They would be cool drones to make limbs for huffer though.

So... do they transform? I see you've armed them differently... is this just you or is it meant to be two variants as a set?

They do transform. I just wanted to arm them that way. Each one comes with the same weapons and there are plenty of ways to mix up the parts.

So anyway, finally got the kit. Completed the first one last night (I decided to build one at a time in case I screwed up something, I would be prepared for the second one; but I realize this is silly since I have rather extensive experience building Gunpla).
My first reaction after completing the first arm and shoulder was, "wow, that was a lot of tiny pieces. We've come a long way from the little G Gundam HG kits I built 20 years ago." Then as I got closer and closer to completion, my reaction turned into a love-hate thing for it.
A) It's incredible how much detail they got into such a tiny mold. In fact, I find it's actually too small and that I have several gashapon that tower over this guy. B) I realize it'd be difficult to make anything bigger and remain convincing as the details would have to scale as well - particularly the tank treads, and that would be hard at anything other than an MG kit.

What I like about the HGUC D-50C Loto set is how well designed it is at such a small size. It's not as fragile as I first thought it would be when I read the news of the kit's release. You get quite a few accessories, which are interchangeable so that gives us some different configurations for armament. It's a perfect transforming 3.3 inch tall model kit. Think about that for a moment. It's a rarity we get perfect transforming model kits but to have one at this small size is remarkable. It's relatively inexpensive and you get two in the set so it's something that could be good for army building if one is so inclined.
