For more than 30 years the Microman/Micronauts gave us a whole cast of cool and fun characters.
Which one is your favorite?

My first Micronaut infatuation midsummer night's wet dream drooling holy grail was Biotron.
But then I abso-friggin-lewtly fell so vertigo-my-goshiously in luv with the Acroyears; they became my shoplifting favorites at Alexander's (Fordham Rd. in da Bronx) back in my highschool days. ;D
I used to beg mom to get me Biotron, but she always sed No; so that led me to lift acroyears, out of anger. Biotron would stare at me in total disbelief, from across the street at Hobby Tree's window. ;D
Acroyears for me, Hands Down. LOL

For me, it has to be M13x Spy Magician's and the M26x line of Rescue figures. Those were the ones I flipped out over when I discovered them locally in an NYC store back in the day. The quality was tons better than the MEGO stuff and even though I could not read the Microman Story stuff, the images fascinated me.
Past that the Acroyear Amazon's. And as far as Micronauts go, the orange/black type-1 Pharoid blew my mind as a kid. It was basically a repackaged Takara toy, but I remember looking at it and realizing there was something special and unique about this toy. Better quality than the other Micronauts stuff.

Microman Asuka and Rei are tied, for me. They're both really nice figs. Picture mostly related.

Microman line holds a special place in my robot collection. It was my 1st expensive imported toy that my mom got me in the early 80s. Back in those days, my family could not afford to get me such expensive toys often. My 1st Japanese toy is a Mighty Suit 3 with M005 Oruga, it's how I started my life long journey collecting robots. Here's the link ---> www.microforever.com/mightysuit3.htmRecently I managed to score one in Yahoo Japan, as I've long lost the original toy.

It's basically a snap on suit. I was surprised by the lack of size when I received this figure. The box was super tiny! I was expecting something around 5 inches tall. Guess I've mini hands as a boy Front Back It's under 4 inches All parts are still in baggies and sprue ;D

The Biotron was cool but the diecast Jeeg and Gakeen are right up there. Anything diecast was a favorite as a kid.

Micronauts did not make it that big in France when I was little, but I managed to get Antron and Biotron (chistmas present from my grand-parents), and they were part of my favorite toys ever. I still have them, in a rather good nick given how much I played with them, and they are enjoying retirement as collector's items now (my son find them cool but I don't think they would withstand any normal playtime by a 10-y old now, especially Biotron). I never had a shogun warrior as a kid so Biotron was my big robot.
