I think this item was reviewed b4, but I just could not find it. Is there any issue on this Proto Garland compared to the previous Garland release? I am scratching my head as to get it or not to get it.
Please give me your comment on this item as I am worried it might still have issues like the previous releases. Thanks

The rear view mirrors on the bike are prone to breaking off/being broken in the packaging (Yamaaattoooooooo! <shakes fist>) but otherwise it's largely regarded to be a fairly solid release. It's a fair bit more expensive than all the multitude of defective Garland releases, though.

Thanks for the info.... You are the first to answer my question... Actually not a very big fan of Megazone 23. Would you recommend to buy this compared to other transforming robots?

That's a tough call. If you like the design and can afford it, it's a fairly good figure. It's got all the hallmarks of a Yamato transforming toy though, for better or for worse - Kind of sloppy and hollow feeling plastic, ratcheting joints that have that clacky, empty sound, and negligible diecast. Myself I'd say skip it if you aren't a M23 fan, but in the end, it's not my money you'd be spending

Help you make up your mind... Here is my Proto (stickers come from my own leftover toys/modelkits).
