I am in the process of creating my own custom Diaclone Marlboor Wheeljack figure. I need your help and advice as to the actual shad of red color needed for the figure. Please look at the pics of the real version or if someone has the real version.... Please help me deteremine the right red color paint to purchase. I'd greatly appreciate any help!   |

I can help. The top robot-japan.com picture is a bit overexposed in the back of the head. I kind of think the lower picture is a bit dark.
In fact I wonder if the lower picture is authentic. It may be, but the two I've seen in person have sharper hood masking, and less of a finish issue under the front windshield. The red seems a bit wavy.
SO.... the back of the arm is an accurate color.

As an owner of 2 original Malboors....The red on the roof could be ok...the stickers one too...but the painted one looks too red...the original one is a red shade very close to ORANGE.Hard to take pics of and saying that's the real colour because everymnitor is set in a different way...u should buy 2 color tables of the same brand and sending one to the owner of an original Maboor...then comparing the tables and adjusting the shots colours with Photoshop.....Then having an idea of what morelest could be the original color...OR visiting somebody who owns the original piece and comparing yours live.

WHERE ? WHERE did You get those decals? I have tried, with no luck at all, to get a set from reprolabels! now there is someone from the TFW2005 forums that has offered to make me one, now yours really ROCK! tell me where? please!!
