I have the first 2 alternators from TRU. I've been following the Binaltech line, and was wondering if the Alternators versions exist and where to buy them.
I like the lower price and playability of the Alternators, although the BT ones are far superior.
So how many Alternators are out now? I've really only seen 1 and 2.
Thanks

I've seen Streak and Hound out too on the Alternators line.

Goto BBTS.com, they usually have them all for sale.

Are they for sale in any stores? I was hoping to just pick them up locally. I live in Central Florida. I know that TRU, Wal-Mart, and Target had the first 2, but I'm wondering why they haven't sold the latest ones.

Yeah, I HIGHLY recommend the Binaltech over the Alternators as well. But like you, I have only seen Smokescreen and Sidesipe in my local stores.
I don not believe the others have been released in the US, or in very limited numbers.

I almost go to Wal-Mart twice a week. But I haven't seen Alternator Steak and Hound yet. Are they really officially released yet?

I agree that the Binaltech ones are nicer, but Transformers are secondary to the SOC/Aoshima collection that I have.
I have to keep the costs down and get the Alternators so I can afford my SOC habit!
Overall, I think that 20-25 is very reasonable for the Alternators, and they still have the great engineering although no metal.

Same here in Vancouver...our local TRU only carries the first two.

don't mean to go against the flow here but I think the Binaltechs are made much better than the alternators. I collect the SOC's primarily but I gotta have the binaltechs as well. The pricing is not too bad considering the amount of metal you get. so for me my vote goes to the Binaltechs.
