Oh yeah, I'm just joking too, and the butt chewing was just a joke to push you're buttons, seriously, it was just for fun. So how about just for fun, consider what I said in my other posts?

Uhhhhhh ssssooooooo.... ... Oh hey, look, a picture of those Alteisen effect parts I mentioned earlier. Kinda doesn't look that great, really. A fantastic piece to put in would be an explosion effect for the shoulder claymores - not a necessary addition by any means, but it'd be cool.

Where are they? Is it just that flame??? Boring... So, do you think this is going to be better than the Banpresto diecast? That one is pretty cool already, and I would hate to purchase something that is a step down from what I already have. }D

That one is pretty cool already, and I would hate to purchase something that is a step down from what I already have. }D I think it'll probably be less gimmicky, maybe a little lighter (the Unifive diecast Alteisen is pretty zinc-laden), but overall more stable which would make it a win for me. I think the Unifive Alt is pretty nice (hell, I have two of them!), but the fiddly nature of its joints, the hips in particular, make it less than fun to try and pose or mess with once I've gotten it standing and looking good. I think as far as gimmicks go, the Unifive'll be tough to beat, with the loading shells in the revolving bunker and the various springloaded claymore hatches and fins, but I forsee this one being a great deal more "playable", as it were. Overall, I'd say it probably wont be worth it for people who already have the Unifive and are more display-only oriented in their collecting. Me - I already have five different Alteisen versions ... what's one more?

I wonder what the proportion would be between what's "gimmicky" and what's "playable". From what I've seen here so far, these look to me like they can handle being more playable than just being mere "pose-and-display" figures. But then, still, either way just depends on the individual person who'll own any one of these specimens.
I must say, though, this toyline is doing a great job in the "special effects" stuff for these little figures.

It would be way cool if they had a claymore insert that has them in mid rocket fire sort of like CM's GoShogun missile except with multiple missiles being fired.
I'm sure this version won't be on the same level as the Unifive Alteisen, but being the premiere SRW unit I'm sure it will be a nice figure. I'm hoping this line will fill in the SRW gap that a lot of fans have been waiting for who understandably won't pony up for the Volks figures.

Ankle design looks a little funny, but I guess it's to allow it to remain flat-footed even when it's got a wide stance.

Looking at that picture in the bottom center, I'm wondering if the ankle might has some kind of pull out extension for action poses?

Hopefully it's a pull-out dealie. It looks kind of odd with it extended otherwise.

It looks like a Pullout awright. With the way the leg armor buldges out at the lower shins, I'd think that ankle was designed to Pull out in order to pose that mecha in various spread-legged fighting stances in the same way Revoltechs do. Kinda makes sense, don't it?

Alteisen is looking good in these photos. I'll be picking it up, as well as probably all the SRW stuff they put out (except Dygenguar and Aussenseiter =P).

That would be pretty cool, but isn't Alteisen's square claymore attack resemble shotgun blast which are not suppose to leave smoke trails? Looking at the new picture that quinjester posted, I get a weird feeling looking at Alt's lower legs. I'm so used at seeing the unifive Alt which has calf armor which is much bigger than his feet, and Bandai's rendition has the calf armor which is not much larger than his feet, which makes him much sleeker. I hope the claymore doors are spring loaded, and comes with a bonus Shishio Blade ;D

Looks like I stirred something up wwith my remarks about this thread about the mazingers. Thanks quin for delivering news. I can always count on you to find news on up coming figure. The two mazingers figures coming out first under this line, I will skip and I don't intend on buying another mazinger figure. One is all I need in my collection. I don't have a alteisen chogokin yet so I will get this one. The weiss would be nice if they do it. But I hope this SRC line will carry more new mecha, it doesn't have to be from only SRW series. Give me gravion, or dann of Thursday, demonbane etc...

I would really like to see Gravion too. I have the Yamato Gravion and he's maybe adequate, but nothing special with no metal, and no real gimmicks or accessories to speak of.

A cousin of mine one said to me that robots should be made of metal. That's the reason I want more of these new mechas that hasn't gotten the chogokin treatment being made.

Certainly. The potential for rarer mecha to get toys made has been what I've been crossing my fingers in the hope of ever since the introduction of first the revoltech line, then the Robot Damashii line, and now with this SRC line. Someday I'll get my Dai-Guard .
