Cool, it looks like the Scrander wings can come off. Love the final image of "defeated" Maz. Headsup, according to a good friend of mine who got his Maz already, be careful when equipping the Pileder as the Maz's chin is so posey it can scratch the torso. Diecast is roughly 50%, chest, lower legs and some of the joints. Gold

Am I seeing things, or the set comes in two versions, right and left handed(for the big gray hands)? EDIT : Forget it... The right hands are in the standard package, the lefties in the add on... ;D

The size doesn't look bad in the pictures with SOC Doublas M-2. So, seems like the Diecast content is similar to the original GX-01. I wonder if the upper arms are diecast as well...

I was looking at pre-order pics of the God Reideen and it's just too freakin bad about those excessively big feet. Overall he's a fairly cool looking robot, but I just can't get past the feet. Not to mention that I don't know how posable he'll be with those big ol' honkers.

I wonder how closely tied the presence of SRW:OG Mecha in the SRC line is to the upcoming new TV series, seeing as it was announced shortly after the reveal of the SRC lineup. Hopefully Bandai will show some more SRW:OG (Weeeiissssssss) prototypes sooner rather than later. Gear fighters and Raideens are all very well, but I needs me some Originals

If there are SOC Mazinkaiser and Mazinkaiser SKL, I will be a happy man in the world!! As of today, no happiness for you! ;D The only Mazinkaiser supposedly being released by Bandai at this time is the SRC line version. Don't tell me you're not going to get it because it is not an SOC...?!!! Come on!... It looks awesome anyway!!! }D

My comment for that SRW anime promotional poster: Excellen needs to be larger!
Edit: Alteisen's release date is very close to the announced start of the new SRW anime. Another coincidence? A conspiracy must be at hand here...

Excellen's looking good there. I'm looking forward to picking up all the SRW originals they put out (probably the only SRC's I'll get). I just hope they don't end up doing any of them in the SOC line afterward; I'm already resigned to the fact that some of them will probably be web exclusives. ;_;

My comment for that SRW anime promotional poster: Excellen needs to be larger! Larger... uh... how, exactly? Keep in mind that some of the promo photos seem to show her ... uh... plenty ... large... ahem. She's .. a fairly gifted lady. I just want a SRC Weissritter . Weiss-chan is tied with the Patlabor Ingram for my favorite robot design ever

She needs to be large, like this image: Quin, seeing that the small Raideen can transform, is it too much to hope for a transforming Cybuster? Cybuster's transformation seems to be remarkably simple... I'll stop fooling around now

I think she might be bigger in Quin's pic. Larger nipples too. *ahem*

I am certain that Bandai will be unleashing a Mazinkaiser SKL in the S.O.C. line in 2011. Once the anime series hits, we will be deluged with releases. (And the numerous variations of the same mold.....)

... unless the anime flops, and then Bandai doesn't have to worry about dumping money and R&D into a proper SOC release that retailers have to clearance to get rid of.

Was Shin Mazinger a "hit" in Japan? We sure did see A LOT of product based on that series. I think that regardless of how the series fares in ratings, we will see a ton of product.

if there was a SOC release of Mazinkaiser SKL ... i hope it's 18cm, and not the usual 16cm that Bandai been pulling off as of late "Shin Mazinger, Getter-1, Getter Dragon" With the same Size of the Max Factory Mazinkaiser it'll be the Best Mazinkaiser product IMO ..and cheaper too

From th elook of that styro base, it seems that SKL is getting the SRC treatment. Looks good, but I was really, really hoping for the larger SOC version!!! Is this out in the market yet?
