Wow, you guys paid a lot of money for a very small figure, because the src figures are only 14 centimeters tall.

Hmmmm... a dvd with just one episode. A $120 (give or take) small SRC figure. Web exclusive. ...........I'll just Wait, and wait, and wait.
The dvd SHOULD wait til later after the series has aired, THEN put all three episodes onto it. Right now with only just one episode it's a waste of Coaster. ;D

For me, its not really worth paying $100 or more just to buy the TWE of Mazinkaiser Skl with the dvd because by the time the figure is release so is the first episode of Mazinkaiser Skl making the dvd pointless not to mention risking that people will upload the episode so everyone can see it and maybe possible harming the airing episode that would be transmitted on TV which it might hurt Skl more than helping it. Ill just simply wait for the regular release of the figure instead, i don't see this figure going above $40.

They're just asking this much because they know they can. It's true that the DVD is practically worthless. It will be online the minute the figure is released, if not before. I did order the figure just because I really like the design, but I'm under no illusions that it's a prime example of capitalism in big time action.

Yeah the DVD part is way overpriced but that just the case in Japan where DVD's are incredibly expensive due to licensing fee's, have you seen the prices for boxed sets of say Mazinger Z or Grendizer, there in the hundreds.

I was in Akibahara last week. Mazinger double box set was 29500yen !!! Now calculate that in your currency. In my case, the product costs more than 250€, wow...

...<sigh> Oh, well, nothin much we can do about those Yen prices over there, eh. I hope someday soon we'll see this figure as a normal release even just by itself.

I think there will be a Mazinkaiser without the dvd for less money.

I'm pretty sure there will be a regular release of the Mazinkaiser SKL in the SRC line. Bandai threw in the DVD in the Tamashii release to make it an exclusive, but they are not going to be so naive as to not make it a regular release figure.
I would still love to see the SOC version of the original OVA Mazinkaiser (not SKL). The King of Robots truly deserves the Soul of Chogokin treatment. The Aoshima an Max Factory are nice, but I'm willing to bet an SOC would be a really nicer action figure.

Here's a pic for something that will shatter your mind ;D Apart from the Great Mazinger having shorter arm than the Mazinger Z, money well spent. Solid construction, great detailing and the screw panels actually makes the figures more mechanical. Up next... Reideen! Still on the fence about Alteisen, got to pick up the GX-46 if I do commit to Super Robot War set.
