'Special' is an understatement. Just look at this bad boy... A UC Gundam fan I am, but very few Gundam designs can touch this Huckebein MKIII Boxer in my book. Though I wonder when I am gonna have the courage to build this model kit. Or better yet...a SRC DX release? Hahaha. Unfortunately, I've heard that the similarity of Huckebeins & Gundams did got Banpresto involved in some lawsuit, so its kind of a taboo to release toys of any Huckebein designs nowadays, if those news were accurate. And I don't remember seeing them appear in anime form either (I could be wrong though as I have not watched all Divine Wars episodes). Too bad. I'm up to eps 12 in Divine Wars, and the only Huckebein appearance is when the RTX-008R vanished taking Rai's right hand, and certainly no Huckebein appearance up to eps 07 of the inspector yet. I agree - An SRC Huck boxer would certainly make my day!

I believe there are no Huckebeins (with the v-fin head, anyway) in Divine Wars - at least not heavily featured ones. Even in the Inspectors, the "Huckebein" that was shown in the first episode was actually a Wildschwein. Meanwhile the most recent episode confirmed the in-universe "cancellation" of the Mk.III project (in a single throwaway line, thanks guys ), so there probably wont be any Huckebein Boxer in any foreseeable future . ... I need to build my Boxer kit, too, heh.

mpchi and quinjester, be careful assembling the exo frame, especially the crotch section. The pin that connects the white thigh part to the main body are just two flimsy square. The exo frame also is much lower quality than the main figure, parts don't quite fit well and this is the first time that I ever needed to glue a modern injection kit (previous collection line was Bandai Gundams). Coming out of resentment towards SRW OG Kotobukiya kits (holy mother expensive and bad enough to assemble), SRC Alteisen is like a cold drink after being chased by a rabid hyena in the middle of summer for 1 hour straight... In Africa.

In Africa. That's what I call "appreciation" ;D ;D We need more SRW figures, high quality, affordable ones, not hyper expensive and flimsy like the Dengeki issues and Koto Kits!

guys... I just saw a hyena running in the background there. Nooooooo... My SRC Alteisen hasn't come yet... *strange, my PI usually delivered things in two weeks tops*. @dead-Man, thanks for the pic... Anybody knows what the extra leg parts for the Reideen do? I thought the leg will use an adapter in bird mode (as apparent in the pics). The Reideens looked solid, still on the fence whether to buy the God Reideen and the Dendohs, but definitely will pass the Shinken-Oh. Unless the Shinken-Oh comes with extra gimmick. P.S. Is it just me or Reideen optional face is like it's doing a speech or something... Definitely not shouting or doing something super roboty. It looks like saying "come hither people and see the wonder drink that soothe ye ailments".

Why Reideen has no effect parts like other released SRCs? I feel this is the same as GX-41 model. For Dendoh + Ogre, I'm sure to buy them.

Why Reideen has no effect parts like other released SRCs? I feel this is the same as GX-41 model Not quite, the SRC Reideen doesn't have god voice "speakers" and god missile ;D But frankly, I've been eyeing SOC Reideen (just love the design) for quite a while, but bad reviews and high price stops me from buying it. The neck and the overall proportion is a little off for me, and there's the thing about leg articulation. The SRC seems like it's going to suffer with limited leg articulation as well, but better proportion and well below US$100 price tag is always a good news.

That Raideen (the classic Rai) will always have some limitation in its articulation, because of the robot's body design. He looks more tangible in cartoon format. But here as a poseable action-figure his movements will be limited.
Raideen here is all decked out with fangs, horns, wingblades, and shoulderpads out da yingyang; and his body is "squared" in some parts.
I like his "God voice" face here in this SRC version... it looks better than the "Gene Simmons rebel yell" version of the god voice face in my MechaColle Raideen.
All five of my thumbs UP for this SRC Raideen (Classic Raideen).
As for that Choujin Reideen... look at its appearance... ...looks like a Gundam wearing a ThanksgivingDay Turkey suit and running away from the farmer... ....A jive Turkey HO on its back, Legs up in the air, waitin to get Stuffed! ;D
Gobagobagobagobagobble! ;D

SOLD! Put an advance order for the God Reideen. I don't like the flamboyant extravagant drag queen like look of God Reideen, but dang it, it's looking like a solid flamboyant extravagant drag queen like super robot that's seriously awesome.

Ya know..... I gotta admit: That God Reideen appeals to me every time I look at it more and more. I'd still stick with the classic Raideen, because it was one of the first Japanese-languaged animes I watched on TV in the mid-'70s that officially got me hooked on Japanese robots, besides Mazinger-Z.
I don't mean to be cruel-humored... but that string on God Rei's bow looks awfully THICK........ like a snot-shot wad of Phlegm. ;D

It so happened if you broke the string, you can use a resin glue, stretch it, cool it, and you got your snot-shot wad of phlegm string replacement ;D

LOL!!!!!
Have you seen that third Reideen anime? ("Reideen The Superior")
...PRAY Bandai Doesn't make That one.... ... the pilot figure Might be NAKED! ;D
-------------
Back to the Serious....... One major good thing I can say about that God Rei is he'll be able to STAND on his own two feet, due to them big boots he's got there.
I hope the SOC, and now the SRC classic Raideen are able to stand on their rocket exhaust feet.
(I'm having trouble standing my Miracle Action DX Raideen on his feet because of them rocket thruster feet. He'll stay Up if I keep him posed straight.)

CollectionDX video review of SRC Mazinger Z

Just when I thought my Alteisen would come sometimes next week, my PI called to pick it up today. Awe stricken is what best describes my reaction. I thought SRC Mazinger Z was heavy but Alteisen is heavier, I was pleasantly surprised when picking up Alty from its plastic coffin. Paint application is superb but probably about 5% is chipped and uneven, especially on the smallest part like the face. But hey! Coming from Revoltech, SRC paint application is perfection... Articulation wise Alty is not up to SRC Mazinger Z standard. Thigh movement is okay, shoulder and arm movement is okay, waist rotates good though, just like all the video review of SRC Alteisen. But I'm curious about the limit of natural poses it can do, and I always test kneeling as minimum articulation standard. So good news... It can somewhat kneel, naturally even... But define natural... The elongated "knee" provides stable base for kneeling, so it's kind of cheating but cheating by design ;D In short: Satisfied. 8/10 (just being nitpicky about the paint application). Recommended. Will buy more SRC down the line.

Sorry to hear about the flaws on your Alteisen. Mine is 100% perfect - no flaws anywhere. I too was surprised by its weight! Even its size exceeded my expectations. I'm not a SRW OG Mecha fan by any means, but I have to admit the Alteisen is one cool figure! }D

Wow, guys, that Alteisen looks really good next to the other SRCs. As for its poseability--- the Alteisen mecha itself has all those contours and boxy extrusions from its armor, so there's no way to get a 100% natural body pose from a mecha such as That one... ...it's like asking a Gundam to sit with its legs folded Buddha style. It's dark red color looks really Bloody bold, too. Great Score, guys! zozo-Magengar
