Nice pics. Surprisingly, SRC Great Mazinger (25m) & SOC Grendizer (30m) are almost in perfect scale. Though Mazinger Z has to be a lot smaller (18m). But I suppose they look better when they are in similar size, rather than going scale accurate. Well, you can see that Mazinger Z is a lil' bit shorter than Great Mazinger. ;D A Revoltech Mazinger Z would set the 30 : 25 : 18 scale right! But I wouldn't display it next to Bandai's figures...it might look like a Super Robot Salad LOL!

Yeah. I don't like Divine Wars much, even though I am watching it now, just for the sake of watching it. But the storyline of Divine Wars is awesome. Very impressed by it when I first played SRWOG 1 on GBA. Just the animation execution is not up to par, and the CGI stuff took out a lot of dynamics that traditional animation could have had. I find myself enjoying the audio drama CDs more so than watching the show, so the visual is really hurting the story. Glad that we have SRWOG: Inspector with much higher quality animation. Not to mention more kickass mechs will show up here. ;D And yeah, Cybuster is more of a popular mech than a useful one. Its stats in the games are generally just average (unless you give it a lot of upgrades), but its design is very popular among fans, enough to have its own game (Masou Kishin - Lord of Elemental) and its own anime spin-off. So, can I watch The Inspector and not loose much or better to start with DW? Just watched episode 1 of TI and animation is pretty good.

Congratulations on your very expensive purchase. They really got you in Customs!!! I like the scale of the Metaltech Grendizer and SRCs better. The GX-04 looks way too fat next to the SRCs...

Be very careful with the hover pilder and the brain condor: fragile! Treat the Jet Scrander and Scramble Dash wings gently: fragile! I used the plastic tip of a pen(without the pen sticking out of course) to seat the pilder. It was roundish and kind of rubbery so it gave the pilder a gentle but firm push down onto the peg. As far as fragile Since I opened it my Maz has been living on top of my PC tower which sits on one edge of my desk. It has fallen to the desk and to the floor probably 3 times since it's been up there and not a thing is broken on it. the wings, the pilder fin and the chest fins may be popped off, but nothing has broken. I have since put him in a more stable pose and he hasn't toppled over when I've bumped my desk hard since! So I wouldn't call him all that fragile.

There is no doubt about it. You don't have to make him fall off the edge so they break...A wrong clumsy move with someone's hand could break the wings! I also saw many reviews on YouTube where people say that the pilders, wings and chest shields were broken when their Mazinger fell off the tables. Yours is either invincible or lucky!

It's bloody daylight robbery and I still have to pay for another eye surgery soon... dammit.Yeah, Metaltech01 looks nice next to them, but I don't see GX-04 fat GX-10 is fat...GX-04 is just huge...the way Grendizer is supposed to be next to the Mazins ;D All of 'em!

I'll go with lucky I guess, there's not so much as a scratch on any part of him. If kikaiju can't kill him what's a little fall?

"any part of him" includes the pieces in your list. One of the falls he fell backwards off the tower, scraped the wall all the way to the floor between the desk and the wall. Limbs all twisted, looking like a suicide. With much worry I went to salvage what I was sure would be the pieces of my shattered hopes and dreams only to find that chogokin really IS indestructible! MAZIN GO!

So, can I watch The Inspector and not loose much or better to start with DW? Just watched episode 1 of TI and animation is pretty good. Depends if you played the SRWOG games. If you have not played the games, nor watched Divine Wars, its harder to follow SRW:The Inspector, as you don't know who is who and what they did previously, when 'The Inspector' show expected you to know who they are. But not necessary too hard to watch per se, as the plot is not deep or confusing. It focuses a lot on the new comers into the story, so more of the aftermath and continuation of the main plot. Would be better to have played the games. or watched Divine Wars, listened to the older audio drama CDs or read some of the SRW manga. Then you'll have a better grasp on what happened and how certain characters grew, or why so and so is so badass. ;D But again, sitting through the entire Divine Wars series can be a chore, if your standard is high on the visuals.

LOL!!!!!!! ;D You DON'T wanna know how I saw That in my mind! ;D .... Limbs all twisted, looking like a suicide.... -------------- Man, that SRC Maz looks killer on top of that PC tower... ...would be nice to make that PC tower into a "hangar" for him. Guys, I think we need to take our figures to see a counselor... ...the "suicide" rate in this hobby is quite high. ;D zozo-Magengar

OK, guys... I hope nobody hates me for what I did... But a Mazinger Z is not a Mazinger Z to me without his belly Missile Punch trap door; even if its lines are not visible in the anime! My action figs ain't anime... They are the real deal. The live mechas! ;D So, I did this manually today... I know it might seem so DEEP in the pictures, but it's really not! I used a compass and a permanent-ink pen for the engraving. My 2 mistakes are: 1 - The lil' scratch on top of the middle line (which is only on the surface of the paint...and I will try to retouch it with silver soon). 2 - I should've moved both middle and left lines on his belly to the left by 1 millimeter! Yes, it was very risky to mess with such a beautiful figure...and some of you might say "You've ruined it!" but I say I feel much better to see these 3 gimmick lines of his belly panel! That's he real deal Next, I'll be painting the Jet Scrander belt in white! I hope I will have some supporters here ->Gasp!<-

In the future, any chance to see something like that?? You talkin' to me? You don't like it, right? OK, I know it's not perfectly done...but I couldn't really stand that they did not engrave these lines! I mean, if you wanna simulate a real robot, you can't make its action figure exactly as in the anime where this belly trap door opens from nowhere like magic!

Why do you think his post has anything to do with yours? I think you are so sure people will flame you for modding your toy you are looking for criticism even when it doesn't exist. It's your toy. It's your choice. HaHa! Well, personally, I see that Dendoh related to my current Mazinger Z It's the feel of inner guilt! Yes, you are so right, it's my action figure and my choice. I mean I prefer to see it like this, even without perfect sharp lines, rather than seeing the belly in solid color where it fires missiles from nowhere! Though, I like to know what my fellows think here...that's what Robot Japan is for, mate. I also prefer to see Great Mazinger with a collapsed Scramble Dash rather than calling it 'built-in!' I mean, how big is his chest to take such an equipment inside? Yeah, yeah, I know it's anime but as I said before, I like to take 'em as real battle machines.

Thank you yes, I know the sequence...but I did not want to engrave all lines vertically in 90°. Because mechanically, if MazingerZ's upper black torso has this upside-down V shape, the belly panels should open a little bit downward. Therefore, I preferred to engrave 'em a lil' bit titled.
