For both Dendoh and Shinken-oh are setting at the price of 5040 yen. But Amiami has both the Gear Fighters and the Shinken-Oh for 3480 Yen each... }| I do enjoy the discount offer by amiami. ;D My point is, what if there is no discount?? The SRC Mazinger Z at 3500 yen gave us an illusion of smaller size, cheaper price; but the price is accending from Great Mazinger 4500 yen to the highest God Reideen 5500 yen and Dendoh at 5040 yen. The price of GX-51 Getter Dragon set at 7500 yen, which we get more accessories and slighty bigger at +/- 17 cm tall. I am worry about the price is snatching up, and end up the price will be the same as SOC and we will get less fun from the tag that we pay for. It is a problem not an individual discount from somewhere can solve.

The more complex the robot, the more it probably is going to cost. Mazinger Z was really basic figure. Great Mazinger broght a lot of stuff that was sold in the extra weapons pack for Mazinger Z. Alteisen was more complex and I would say even heavier than the Mazingers. The Yuusha Reideen was quite smaller than all other SRCs, but it can "transform", and so does the God Reideen. Don't know about what the Shinken-Oh or the Gear Fighters have to offer, but they will probably offer more than the basic Mazinger Z without the weapons pack...

That's just the way it is, the more parts a figure is made off equals higher price. It doesn't matter if it's accessories or a complex arm design, each actual piece needs to have a mold designed which will increase costs. Also with the success of the SRC line I can easily see Bandai increasing their profit margins by adding a couple hundred Yen here and there. In fact I have a pretty good feeling that the two Mazingers had probably very thin profit margins to lower the price to attract people to the line, Bandai knew there would sell a ton and probably counted on high numbers sold to make a profit rather than decent profit on average sales.

I guess I'm a bit old fashioned but I prefer the Shin Mazinger Z enemy designs to the SKL versions. I hope we get to see some enemy robots in the Super Robot Chogokin line up soon.

Enemies would be cool but only after the "good guys" are made. It wouldn't be very fair for fans of let's say, GaoGaiGar, to have to wait longer for their hero mecha because enemies from Mazinger Z are being released first.

If I wanted to own enemy mecha figures from the SKL OVAs then I'd just grab a few Stikfas and Bionicle figs and make me some custom SKL Garadas. ;D I welcome the new mech designs in the SKL OVAs... I love the classic Mazinger look of all the robots in that old series; but this one here being an alternate universe of sorts offers me a fresh new look at modern mechs piloted by humans as "tanks" and realistic armored fighting machines versus mechs that are programmed to act on their own. In this concept, we're looking at humans piloting their mechs, so it's a test of battle skills and wits between the Mazinkaiser SKL team and the enemy mechs. I went off-topic here... my bad. zozo-Magengar

Yokai, deadman... downloading them Parts right now, using Firefox "Flashgot" downloader and saving in mp4 format. Then I'll load them into Format Factory and splice the parts together into a single movie. Thaaaaanks! ;D I'm watching them as I go... damn, I've never seen an anime super-robot move This agile ever! He fights good in hand-to-hand combat as well, in fact, much better hand-to-hand than what the original Mazinkaiser has ever done (until he beat da crap outta Dark General in the movie.) zozo-Magengar

I'm still amazed that the folks who produced the movie "Equilibrium" have not sued over SKL using their stuff. The moves by Mazinkaizer SKL are called "Gunkata" in the movie. Christian Bale is the Gunkata Master...

I just hope Anime-Export comes through, or there's gonna be hell to pay!!! }D I haven't received my "ready to ship notice" from them either, but I'm not that worried about it yet. I noticed they've been closed for the last few days so they might be backed up. I just e-mailed them, so we'll see what they say.

I emailed them before they went on holiday vacation, as soon as I saw them list the SKL as backordered. No reply yet, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt because of the holidays...
