Contrary to popular belief, I am a very respectful person. It takes a lot to push me to the level where I start demanding action from a merchant. This time it just rubbed me wrong that Anime-Export intentionally disregarded all of my three previous (courteous and tactful) emails. I'm not supposed to get upset in this hobbie, so I'll write this incident off as a learning experience and completely stay away from doing business with Anime-Export in the future.

All I can say is that I only sent one e-mail asking if everything was ok with my order and they e-mailed me back within two days saying that my order was fine but that they were having problems with shipments and would send me my order as soon as they could. It's not ideal, but they responed to e-mail fairly quickly, and it sounded like they were doing what they could.

Not siding with Anime Export, but they usually reply within a couple days on the few times I bought from them.

Maybe Anime-Export didn't know how to spell my name to reply to all my emails...

No doubt its their fault in your case. Just hope that is not a general practice on most other customers. If their customer service have degraded to that in general, they will lose customers very fast, just like how they lose you. And I am thinking it being the SKL may have something to do with it, as an exclusive and all...anyway.

I'm wondering if it's Bandai's fault? It's possible that there was some discrepancy between the total amount of SKLs ordered and how many Bandai produced. I mean think about it, if Anime Export had the figures it's not like they wouldn't send them out.
As far as themazingers problem, all I can think is that they didn't like whatever it was you said and so didn't care enough to respond back (considering he sent three e-mails and didn't get a response). But I would never, even in the worst case scenarios threaten a seller who has your money. If I was you I probably wouldn't buy from then again as they obviously would rather not sell to you.

Like I said, I never threatened them, I just demanded action from them. I never wrote anything like "if you don't do this, I will..." - that's a threat. I never even mentioned contacting Paypal or my credit card to file a claim against them. Anime-Export just did not like the fact that I called out their actions to their face.
Like I said, all I asked them for in my previous friendly emails was about the status of my order. And I only sent those emails because they had already sent me an email themselves telling me the item was Ready To Ship. However, when I went in to select shipping on their Shipping Organizer, it stated that my order was locked and I could not do anything. Otherwise, I wouldn't have bothered to try to contact them at all.
They can't tell me they never received any of my friendly emails, because they were QUICK to reply to my angry one.
But, this is all over now. Like I said, I will not buy from them again as to me they suck.

Gotta say, I've also had some issues with my one transaction with Anime Export... took a while to hear from them, though when the issue was resolved they were civil about it.

Any situation such as TMZ's dispute with that store is one of those small yet really frustrating headaches about this hobby... We're having a good time shopping to enhance our hobby experience, only to encounter these types of obstacles. Distributers (stores and shops) seem to think we collectors have money to Burn therefore they give us that "wait yer damn horses!" attitude whenever a discrepancy is pointed out to them. They often forget that We keep them in business by purchasing toy products time after time. If it weren't for us consumers, they'd be out on the bayou counting crickets. ;D

Yeap! Complete agree with you. Fortunately, there's always other ways to get the stuff we want, without having to rely solely on any particular store to do so...

That SKL Kaiser has gotta be one STRONG SRC figure to hold the rocket-fists, effects, AND that bigass Letter-Opener all in a single pose! I sure wish it would see a regular release soon. I just want that figure; I don't wanna have to buy a dvd just to get it, I can d/L the series later when it gets subbed; I just want that SKL fig. DroOol. zz-mag

Ha, ha... that's nothing! ;D Mazinger Z can do better: ;D Try three rocket-punch effects on one arm while carrying Grendizer's head at the same time!!! No, it is not cheating. The effects are not resting on Grendizer's decapitated body... Sorry, I'm bored. }D

On another note, anyone spotted anything new regarding the Mazinger Weapons Pack Version 2? Seems the hype has died down for some reason...

That's what I'm saying. No news whatsoever, not even a hint on a release date. I hope the project is not dead, I'm really looking forward to those add-ons for the Mazins...

love the pictures bluetengu, although the one with the Jet Scrander you put its wings pointing down instead of up XD lol.
but you know, i find it interesting that no company had done one important gimmick to the Jet Scrander's wing to be in close mode.
