I just got binaltech Deadend in the mail today and pulled it out of the box. All I can say is WOW, great design in vehicle mode. This is the best vehicle desgin of any Binaltech yet. I haven't even transformed it yet, but I am THRILLED with the design.
More comments later after transforming it. =)

OK, done transforming it. It isn't quite as cool in robot form, but I think it is agruably the coolest Binaltech to date. Definitely the coolest in vehicle form.
Is it just me, or is the head just like G1 Sunstreaker? Was the original Deadend's head shaped like this?

The original Dead End was really nothing like this at all. In fact, the whole "black sportscar with red windows" look was actually Wildrider, of the same Stunticon combiner team. I have no idea why they mixed these up, but they often do pointless things like that. And yes, his head is clearly designed with Sunstreaker in mind. When the prototype photos first surfaced, everyone was certain it would be Sunstreaker because in addition to the obvious head mold, the alt mode is a hyped up version of Sideswipe's alt mode, just like the G1s. Now that they're doing Tracks in blue we can expect them to do a yellow repaint of Dead End, make him an Autobot, and name him Sunstreaker. At least we hope so.
