I just received my BT06 Tracks today and it's pretty damn cool. The paint job is more royal yellow than I thought it'd be and the silver paint/diecast on the arms give it a good contrast. He's the defintely the most ornately designed robot in the line just in terms of robot mode and the most fully "realized" robot as well.
One issue though: I got shaky wrist syndrome today. You know what I'm talking about. Where you're using force to try and get a piece to open/fold out/pull apart but you're scared that you're going to break something so your wrist starts shaking in the confusion of "not enough force? too much force. not enough force? too much force". There has been many a time where a piece on one of my toys does not quite fit 100% right and after getting it on somehow, removing it off will result in SWS©, *especially* with pegs.
The way that Tracks' diecast pieces are set up give you MANY opportunities to accidentaly scratch up the paint. Couple that with pieces that are sorta of just hanging off while you coax other pieces out and no wonder I got SWS©.
And is it me or do the pictures in the Binaltech instruction manual just suck? Those tiny little black and white line-art diagrams are hard to see and figure out if you're supposed to life/pull/unfold/etc. Now that I have him in robot mode he may just stay there.
Anyways, awesome toy though. If you're holding out because of the yellow you're missing out.

congrats on your purchase, Jryu... i had the same feeling when transforming mine... i wasnt even sure if i'm doing the right thing or not... i'm afraid to add more pressure because i might damage the paint job... i had a bad experience with the bt smokescreen ;D
... and i agree on the sucky manuals... not only with tracks... the whole bt line's manuals suck compared to their alternators counterpart... the illustration in the alternators manual are more helpful and easier to understand...

The hood area is one of the areas that gives me the creeps. If you've seen pics, the hood is split in half length wise. When it's in car mode, there are these tiny, unpainted "clips" on the underside of the hood that keep it held together. When transforming, you have to pull the whole front of the car apart, splitting at the seam in the middle of the hood. Those little unpainted clips can easily chip that area if you're not careful. In fact, you need to be aware of the whole front are of the car while you're transforming. Also, becareful of the back piece (the roof of the car) while in robot mode. There are two pegs underneath the roof and if not lifted up properly, rest on the windshield of the car where it is prone to getting scratched up. Just make sure that it's lifted a bit higher. Those bad parts aside, I can say that it's easily my favorite BT so far. The robot mode kicks all sorts of ass and the homage to the G1 version where there is the windshield on the chest area (it's a vestigial part in car mode) is genius. j*ryu For a while there I thought you had Parkinson's heh...
