Wow I really hate the grey plastic they are using for his face, looks like crap. Yeah, that's what jumped out at me when I saw the toy at botcon. The face looks awful. Fixable, no doubt, with some silver paint, but it was offputting enough for me to not even try to get one when they went up on toysrus.com last week. |

Ok, I've been offered a used Takara MP Rodimus in great condition for 117 Euros shipped to me.
The best price I can get for the US MP Rodimus since I live in Europe is 90 + euros.
Is the Japanese one a good deal (price + considering design defects) or better to just get the American one?

I'm starting to like the dark face it gives Rodimus are more "darker" badass feel compared to his normal whiny "I killed Optimus girl thingyness" lol.

The Hasbro version has made improvements compare to the Takara version.It resolves some of the Takara version QC problem which tempts me to buy.But it seems that Rodimus can't hold the targetmaster gun well.

Nope, but I have begin to search. There are 3 Toys R Us store with in 25 mile radius and one that I can stop by on a daily basis. Been walking through that one for the last two days. Will ask one of the clerks tomorrow.

Toys r us opens @ 10am, I. Got there @ 10:10am, greeted with a empty shelf with only the price tag. Damn scalpers got to them all. I ask the clerk to see if they have anymore. He check and said no. Oh well. I will try the other two location tomorrow. Guess I will wait it out to see if they restock the following month like they did with grimlock.

anyone know if this is already available in Canada??? Based on initial reports, it was actually spotted first in Canada TRUs. I still can't find one here in SoCal. TRU employee checked their computer and nothing within 100 mile radius as of this weekend  What's weird is that TRU online website took it down from their inventory |
