Looks like G4 is going to stream the promised coverage of this years EVO 2010. July 9-11. Man, wish I could go. Actually wish I was really good enough to play! Rumor says there might be another Capcom project announced, too, based off a comment on SF4's director's Twitter.

On another note, Justin Wong is NOT in the top 8. He will not be playin' on Sun. He lost with his current main character Rufus against a crazy Adon. Adon is tough in SSFIV. Daigo is still taking people to school however and is, of course, in the top 8. |

Well the popular rumor was a new Darkstalkers... but we're two days in and nothing yet so we'll see if the rumors bear fruit. Yeah, i heard about Justin Wong upset... my friend is an Adon main and so he was super happy, going to be streaming those finals tomorrow!

If Only I can play half as good. But after watching the tournament, I went onto ebay and purchase the sanwa button and parts. Gotta replace the default stuff on the cheap Matzcrats SFIV stick on my PS3. The buttons for some reason aren't as responsive.

Are you replacing the joystick w/a Sanwa as well? I cheated and just got the HRAP 3 SA for the PS3. ;D Plus I got Sweet deal on it at Amazon.  Now waiting for MvC3 demo! |

that marvel vs capcom 3 looks great, but haven't seen much of an upgrade, other than new characters and graphics. Changing the stick too, Stick and 6 buttons. Got my madcatz for 30$ at gamestop and the stick and 6 buttons on ebay for 56$. Still less than what a tournament edition would cost.

Agreed on MvC3. Still not sure I like the character models yet. Maybe once the Hi-Res videos of this come out I can appreciate how pretty this could be. Yeah, that TE can be kinda expensive from what I've seen, So I don't blame you for doing the self mods!  As much as I love my HRAP3SA. Yeah, me too pretty much, Actually woke up to watch some of the Melty Blood finals. Very cool stuff. TVC makes me want a wii really bad. It's silly that I don't have this game yet! Well, looks as if Daigo takes it again. Too bad the stream sort of crapped out there at the end. It was an awesome match between him and Ricky Ortiz. Man, didn't know they streamed it last year too. Guess I wasn't paying close enough attention. Still not sure why G4 won't throw coverage up on the actual TV network. I mean, there was like nothing going on this weekend of extreme importance. Sure the World Cup final, but that's like one game. *sheesh* Ah well. Definitely glad I was able to tune in online this year! |

I was lucky to have play TVC back in December of 2008, the Japanese version, cause I modded my Wii. The US release with Zero proved to be the difference in the tournament. Before the US release, I was playing it with the old Pelican 3 in 1 joystick that I have. Luckily the Wii has gamecube compatible controller ports. I have only tried to play it online once and got owned. G4tv commentators stinks. The commentators from earlier in the morning and yesterday knew what their stuff and was actually way better. Wondering what they were airing on G4tv as the event was going on live? Probably cost to much to have cameras and a whole video crew doing a live telecast.

Yeah, me and my friends were all watching the last match and were SUPER pissed when the feed cut off and only kicked back on in time for us to find out that the match was already over... It was very, very lame. You guys enter the twitter contest for the stick?
Also, if you expect TVC to play like a normal SF game or spin off, it's actually pretty different, but fun and unique in its own way. I heard the controls for MVC3 are set up like TVC...

The combos in MB were just nuts. Kinda hard to keep up with actually. Very pretty looking game for the PS2. I still prefer my BB stuff though. I actually didn't touch twitter the whole tourney. I wish I had now though. Have Capcom announced an arcade release for MvC3 or is this a straight to console deal?? |

I just got the sanwa parts in and installed it on the arcade fightstick. Should of went with a different color scheme. The ones I got are the same color scheme as thee original. Except for the buttons, they have a black outter ring and original are all white. The sanwa parts are much more responsive. Was happy to have done the switch.

Yeah Sanwa is pretty much top notch when it comes to stick/button parts as I understand it. Glad to hear it's working out for you so far. Love that clicking sound that the buttons make.
