I have a drawing of the spacer but final design is not done  but its pretty cool already looks very agressive. |

Well, for now DON'T show pics of the Spazer until AFTER you've completed it (if you decide to make one)... ...as damn good as your work is, I think it would be fun for you to keep us in suspense regarding a custom King Grendy Spazer. I used revo joints for the elbows but still not sure if thats what im gonna use in the end.

Haven't checked this thread in a while, and I am missing out. Great stuff. So cool to see renewed interest in lots of Grendizer bots, and villans lately in toy form, from several mfgs, and personal projects like this. Some serious talent.

You should seriously think about re-casting the parts to sell as a kit, I would buy one for sure!
Also on a side note whatever happened with the fan made movie about King Grendizer? Did it get stopped or is it still in progress?

If I recall, there was something going on with Lucca and Nagai? Something that prevented acturus from showing more pictures??? I only know that I want one of those King Grendizers really bad!

I was afraid something like That would happen.
Looks like Nagai has been noticing thread tags online
just by doing simple browser searches and certain keywords
show up in the Search-results.
I gotta be careful, I'm working on my own personal custom
stuff Not for sale nor profit but for my own enjoyment.
I really hope Acturus gets the green light to continue with his
custom Grendy, and I also hope Lucca get's Nagai's OK to
continue with his fanmovie anime version.
I mean, Really, this stuff is a tribute and homage to the original
creator... a fans' appreciation... as fans, it's our way
of keeping these famous robot characters alive for generations;
that's all we want, and nothing more.
Doesn't Nagai see that?!
I'm starting to get real upset about his attitude towards
Fan Appreciation for his work.
We're Not trying to take away from Go Nagai's life of
all the work he's done; if anything, we're putting him on
a higher pedestal each time someone makes a custom
project of His work.

Screw Nagai, Bandai, Kaiyodo, HD, and everyone else who holds a license and interferes with people making custom stuff for themselves or to share with fellow collectors. I hope they all get permanent diarrhea!

well technically, his doing what he thinks is the correct approach. sure that its stopping what could have been or possible to be a great figure, but if people start asking for the figure to be mass produce it then there is some issues. one of the obvious issues is that King Grendizer is using the name of an already existing figure.
but who knows, maybe GoNagai saw his work and wants to make it into reality of been an official anime lol. If you think about it GoNagai said his gonna do a Grendizer story and then suddenly this guy working on King Grendizer just went poof.
