(off topic) did anyone here catch that "Habbo" banner ad at the top of this page? Girl's boyfriend left her, she checks into a hotel, scores TEN New boyfriends and a DOG! Damn that girl must be a Real SLUUUT! ;D

Those "cracks" in Grendy's armor are actually Panel-lines. Nah, I can tell the panel lines from the cracks because of their sharp straight edges. The cracks I'm refering to are in the right forearm, chest, and "pants". I don't think anyone that can draw this awesome would draw squigly and jagged edge panel lines, and much less when he has drawn perfect ones in the same picture. ;D I like them, they give Grendizer a lot more character... }D

Those "cracks" in Grendy's armor are actually Panel-lines. As for the Harken blades, I used to think they would materialize in energy form at the ends of the Harken staff. But after a while I realized the blades were actual real blades that would pop off his body with some kind of gravitational electro-magnetic force to place them onto the ends of the staff. Now Grendy pops them blades up in a better way: Boss Borot pats Grendy on the back real hard and Grendy "coughs" up the blades in mid-air. ;D zozo-Magengar The time Dizer takes to release those blades is only 0.8th of 1 second (The Mazinger Bible)! Also, if I am not mistaken, I think it can cut 8 meters of thick steel plates (Japanese Wikipedia). Oh WOW!! This drawing is so awesome.... Dammage is this the biggest you resolution you have? Yes, I just updated the image with a higher resolution one. }D Yes, I think you are right...there are some slight crack touches at these spots. As for the panel lines, that's what I was talking about before: to see a version (specially for the trio) "Z, Great & Dizer" from Bandai made in such panelized way ;D painted in real alloy colors, with some internal mechanism revealed and bolts on the armors, glass (not acrylic), eyes with electric lights and ...ALL in metal with some scratches, cracks and minor damaged spots and some burned parts as a result of enemy fire shoot! Plus, would be damn awesome if they give 'em the height scale factor, eventually the weight will occurs too. I want the real damn mechas come alive Bandai or Metaltech...Do it! Do it! Do it!

i like it when some people does a rendition o the character, they make it look a bit realistically as long as they stay on the spirit of the character.

Yeah, I love when the actually put wear and tear on the Super Robots. Not too much as to make them look just dirty and neglected, but enough as to show that they have been in several battles. I don't know who the artist was that drew that Grendizer, but I sure would love to see a Mazinger Z drawn by him (or her?).

Panel-Lines. Look at him more closely, CLOSELY. Tell me, since When have Cracks become so perfectly curved with smooth shiny edges? zozo-Magengar Those "cracks" in Grendy's armor are actually Panel-lines. Look closer, CLOSER... see the patterns and curves in those plate edges? PANEL - LIIIIIIINES. ;D zozo-Magengar

Ahaaah... the "cracks" in the mouth are shaped like "Fangs". The patterns are still consistent with the rest of his face. Starting from the jaw, around his cheeks, on his cheekbone below his eyes, up above his eyes towards the scalp... ...there's a larger "crack" (panel lock) one on each side of his jawline, to separate the jaw from the cheek... ...if the robot returns from battle with surface damage, the armor has to be removed Somehow to make repairs on anything that might be damaged inside, right! I do see a couple dents in his head up in the red area near the forehead spikes, but that's expected of armor. Train your eyes for Detail... Keep in mind, these pics are an artist's rendition of a Grendizer robot from a realistic mechanized perspective. We're looking at a "live" mechanical looking robot. We're not looking at cartoon cellshades this time. zozo-Magengar

There are no panel lines on the other side of the mouth, those still look like cracks. There is also pits on several places in the horns and head.
But please I dont want to argue about a picture. I see cracks and you see panels and the picture is still beautiful.

I wish she had been Tough in the original Mazinger series as she was in the ShinMaz series.
