I was gonna ask how you can play this since it a Japanese release and then I remember that the PSP is region free. If you like this type of shooting games there's a good one on the Wii. It's called Castle of Shikigami 3.

It's called Castle of Shikigami 3. Yeah! Totally been wanting to play Shikigami no Shiro 3! Now I know I need a wii!! LOL! Oh, and when you get set up on the Japanese PSN there are tons of PSP demo's that aren't out in the US. Huge shooting game fan here. I had to get the import version of Shikigami 2 for the PS2, but I know that there's a localized version of it out there! Favorite shmup of all time though, probably Ikaruga. The music is freaking EPIC!

ikaruga was one of my favorites on the Gamecube. I still hold windwaker as my all time favorite when it comes to the GC. I own only around 8 titles for the Gamecube and was glad to have that one. They never release Castle of Shikigami 2 in the US, so the only way to have played it was to import it and then use the action replay, cause that allowed the Gamecube to become region free. So you must have a Japanese PS2 or mod your to play imports. It's sad that my PS2 no longer works, because I was using that Swap Magic dvd disc and it killed my lens. Should of just installed a mod chip and got it over with. Had around 50 or so titles on the internal HDD that I installed on there too. Had to get the network adapter to install the HDD and got the HDD loader disc to load the HDD back then.

So, I had no idea that there was a SNS 2 for the Game Cube as well. Sounds like GC was a default system for rare shmups back in the day. Yeah, actually there was a US PS2 version of SNS 2 released in 2004 under the title Castle Shikigami 2. For the life of me I can't think of why I didn't just go ahead and get the US version. LOL! As for Ikaruga, got me the Dream Cast copy back in the day (still have it). Ahhh, Dream Cast! Love that little machine. Theres also a DC version of SNS 2 which is kinda pricey now. OOh, apparently the NGH is supposed to contain KOF Skystage?? game.snkplaymore.co.jp/official/kof-skystage/Weird, but this was announced a long while ago for XBLA I believe, but it's getting the PSP port instead and/or as well.
