Nice pics! Is it a version that comes with exploding shoulders or the fixed one?

This is a weathering limited edition just relased two weeks ago. It comes with fixed shoulders.

I love that the weathering is subtle around the panel-lines and edges. Does anybody know if there's any pattern to the weathering variants? The news feed at CollectionDX says that my all-time favourite version, the DYRL VF-1A is also about to be rereleased but I'm wondering if I should expect a limited weathering repaint coming or if I should just jump on the plain vanilla one... hmmm...

Very cool pics Glaw, btw it looks like they also remove the rainbow effect on the canopy on this release right? I love that the weathering is subtle around the panel-lines and edges. I've seen all 3 DYRL VF-1As on preorder on Amiami too, I guess they are finally going to get the fixed shoulder re-release. My super Vf-1a hikaru was the first v2 yamato valkyrie I ever bought, and sadly the shoulders cracked on the first transformation... at least I got it cheap, but still :s

Did they ever do a 1/60 VF-1S Fokker weathering version? I'd love that!! Yes, they did. If you are interested in it, you're still able to purchase it from HLJ. Very cool pics Glaw, btw it looks like they also remove the rainbow effect on the canopy on this release right? Thanks for your complement. Yes, I also noticed that the rainbow effect on the canopy is removed on this release. That causes me to believe why Yamato will re-release 1/60 VF-1S Hikaru next month.

Great pictures GLaw, thanks for sharing. I really like these weathered Strike parts, the extra painted bits are really making it standout compared to the standard version
