I'll probably end up playing Street Fighter X Tekken more, since I'm more of a SF fan, but I'm really curious to see how Namco will adapt Capcom's characters to the Tekken system in Tekken X Street Fighter.

Saying "typical fighting game" is like calling all giant robots "Gundams." No two are really a like, try going through 4 different titles and you'll find you can't play SF the same way you can play Guilty Gear, Mortal Kombat, Tekken or Virtua Fighter. They all have a shared play style, which is true, but they each approach that in different ways. you said it yourself....THEY ALL HAVE A SHARED PLAY STYLE, which is beating the hell out of your opponent.....it belongs to the same genre which is clearly in my opinion is a typical fighting game!!!  |

Picked this up the other night after work against my better judgement. It's pretty cool so far. Looking forward to some of the promised DLC. Namely Cody and Guy. Bring it!

I really love fighting games, to me, this game is more like STREET FIGHTER with more character. Tekken style and technique is gone completely, a bit sad, but still a fun game  |

sad this game is getting a bad rep because of capcom's stupidity really.
some people hack the console version of the game and it has all the 12 char. and customs that the PSvita is gonna get for free. difference is you will have to wait till fall to get this stuff and you will pay for them.
HINT HINT...is already on the dis and 100% complete, you already paid for it by purchasing the game with its content.

I finally got this game and spend roughly two and a half hours on it. There is just too much customizing in this game. The whole gem system is kinda retarded. I like the whole cross cover action and all but it just isn't as fun to play. I still prefer ultimate marvel vs capcom 3 over this one.

Is there a PC version of this game available? Because I really wish I knew how to modify the fighting characters..... replace them with super-robots.... the way This guy (below) did...  photo courtesy of khaledantar666I have this same image as a 4000x4000 size. I wonder if the image itself is the actual mod or just a mere screenshot of the modification result? I d/loaded a copy of the game so I could look into its files and see if there's a way I could mod the characters by replacing them with Mazinger-Z and some enemy robots. Perhaps the fighters are actual texturized 3D objects, if so I'll need to find out what 3D file format they're in so I can hack them... If that were possible I'd have Mazinger and his robot enemies placed into the game so we can have us a Super-robot styled custom SF game! ;D zozo-mag |
