Hi! I have only managed to get Max Factory Gokins of GGGG and not so familar with the different CM's products. Hopefully one of the experts around here and help me out. Questions: 1) If given the chance, which one shall I "go for"? The DX version or Brave Gokin (vers 1 or 2)? 2) DX is all plastic, right? But is it quality plastic (= heavy) or just a big but hollow figure? Other issues to have in mind? 3) What is a "reasonable" costs (excl. shipping) for DX and Gokin version respectively such a long time after its release? 3) Is there any size different between the DX vs Brave Gokin 03 version? Anyone who has a picture (compare) and wanna share his collection? Thx in advance!

1) Brave Gokin vers. 2 2) The DX is a complete and total piece of sh*t. This is the honest truth. It's a crappy, poorly designed, severely over priced figure. 3) I'm being completely serious when I say that I wouldn't give more than $50 for the DX version. 4) The DX version is bigger by an inch or two.
Just take my word on this, you don't want the DX version. It doesn't really work right in its transformation due to poor engineering and chances are you will break it trying to transform it. It doesn't pose well, it doesn't really stay together if you move it. It's an awful, poorly designed figure.
The Brave version is better, but it's not a exactly a great figure either. It also has transformation problems and can break if you aren't careful, but if you get the Brave version you definitely want the version 2 if possible.

I had some thoughts (= doubts), so it was good to see them confirmed. Thx quinjester for the useful links!

Thx rizuan76 for the link. Great review by Gold. Very useful .. however, I just miss one thing. The GGGG Version 2.0, what is the release number? For example, Star GGGG ver 2.0 is Brave Gokin 24, GGGG Ver 2.0 is Brave Gokin 25 ... so what release number is GGGG Ver 2.0? Thx again for all the help!

Nope no change at all, it's still Brave Gokin 03. There's no tell-tale or discernable signs on the box to indicate that it's the reissue version.

First of all let me say i am a huge of fan of gggg design! I have both versions and the dx is huge, very wide and it is very heavy. It makes for an incredible display. In spite of being just a few inches bigger than the normal one when you put them side to side you really see how huge the difference is in overall size between them. But the problem of the dx is the arms connector, if you want to move the arms they will most of the times come off but they stay on their place if you leave it alone. But it is very sturdy except for the small fins but still no problem if you are only a little bit carefull. When transforming it i really put the sturdiness of the parts to the test because the instructions are very hard to understand clearly and i had a really hard time getting it right and i really lost my patience a few times and throwed it away in rage I see it more like a PG model instead of a toy.Even if the arms stayed together all the time it would not make much of a difference because it is so big, complex and has a gigantic wingspan making it difficult to handle. If i were i would get the normal one but if you are a big gggg fan you will like the dx a lot because it looks amazing on the shelf.
