I'm not much into vid-games. But I thought I'd start this thread so those of you into this stuff can find places where to seek those specialty videogame wares and whatnots... Here's a shop in my region (Albany and Schenectady, upstate NY)... pastimelegendsvideogames.com/Pastime Legends Videogames They specialize in vintage and classic videogames for old PS, Xbox, Nintendo, NES, whatever. I've always seen stuff about SRW games online (I don't know which game platform Super Robot Wars belongs to) and how those games are only available in Japan... ...But perhaps if they're of the Nintendo or PS types, I figure there must be SRW fans in my region who may have tired out from old SRW games and just sell the games to this shop mentioned above. If you're looking for classic games, try PLV above and see what you can find. zozo-Magengar

I used to live in Redmond, WA I had a habit of making a stop at Pink Godzilla whenever I head down to Seattle. It's one of those little corner shops packed with a whole lot of classic games, systems and accessories, as well as import games. You know, stuff you don't go to Game Stop for.

Yep. The shop I mentioned above also has old game consoles, gamecubes, PS (the first PSes... ...I nicknamed them "Pisses" LOL!). I'm more inclined to play the retro games like the arcade games and such; although I've seen a few modern console games that Do kick major ass. zozo-Magengar

I looked in that shop's window a few nights ago... ...they had a cool Halo helmet head (with a "bronze" reflective visor over the face area) in the window. Will post pics of it here tomorrow.

Here in Bloomington IN there's a new-ish shop called Game World that sells stuff from Atari to the current gen. They get some interesting stuff in from time to time. Prices aren't great, but often fairly close to what you'd expect to pay online.
Up by Indianapolis there's a chain called Disc Replay that also gets good old stuff in from time to time. Usually good prices too.

There's a large number of disc replays and the like up where I am, though they mostly have newer system games. There's one store in chicago that I know of that still sells things like Atari 2600 systems (refurbished, obviously). It's a pretty neat place, and I'd be lying if I didn't say I was tempted to buy something totally frivolous from there every time I go in.
Cyrano: you're in Bloomington, IN? I grew up there. Great place.

Great place. Yup. I'm a student at IU. We're some kind of reverso-brothers: I grew up in the suburbs outside of Chicago. I go back for major holidays when I can. I might have to check out that store you mentioned...is it also a Disc Replay? Do you remember what street it's on or anything?
