90% metal? Probably none.
This is a big question you are asking. Macross has spanned across three decades with figures in several different Bandai and Takatoku toy lines. But you mention "DX" which leads me to think you are looking for Macross Frontiers figures which started coming out somewhere around 2007 I believe.
If this is what you are looking for and want to know all the different figures that have been made so far, I would recommend you go to amiami.com or hlj.com and see what they have listed under Macross Frontiers. But if you are looking for everything that has been made in Macross since 1982, you'll have to research it, but it shouldn't be too hard if you're willing to put in the time.

I think you don't know what you're getting yourself into. I'm sorry to say but you will eventually find that die-cast metal is not the end-all-be-all of good toy design. The Macross toys I can think of with the most metal would be the very early Yamato toys from about 10 years ago... they kicked off the revival of Macross valkyries with their 1/72 line of Macross Plus transforming toys. While they looked good, unfortunately because the valkyries have such complicated transformations, many fans (myself included!) now have paint damage where the parts pressed against each other during the movement and chipped the paint off the surface... After that, toy designers started choosing to limit the amount of metal used in their designs. The early 1/60 scale fighters by Yamato were only metal in the legs, for example. More recently Bandai resurrected the "Chogokin" brand (you know the famous yellow/red rectangle logo). But again, they are often nowhere near 90% metal. Even the big Macross Quarter battleship from Macross Frontier in this line-up is only about half-metal (the main torso and the legs). I'm not sure about the Macross Frontier valkyries xiombarg mentions - I don't have any of those.

I think your looking for the Macross Frontier 1/60 scale DX fighters but they don't have anywhere near 90% metal in them. At the most you have the old 1/55 "Chunky Monkeys" that had quite a bit of metal but except for a few re-issues are pretty much a dead line.

I dont think you can find valks that contain up to 90% diecast out there, even the vintage takatoku ones do not contain anywhere near that amount. the closest thing you can get are a line of valks (only in fighter mode and cannot transform) realesed a couple of years back. each jet is approx 4,5 inches long, comes in very nice hard plastic casing. check out the link: cgi.ebay.com.sg/Doyusha-Macross-VF-1S-Valkyire-Fighter-Mode-Diecast-/130446761425?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e5f3b9dd1and the bandai chogokin dx line you mentioned, has little metal as well, mostly confined to the internal structure and all externally parts are virtually pastic.

plz help i want any figures of macros made by die cast even if contains 10% die cast ok for me all with limited plz I'm not sure what you want. Do you want a Valkyrie (transforming fighter jet) or the Macross mothership? If it's a Valkyrie, which one do you want? VF-1? YF-19? VF-25? How much are you willing to spend? Does it have to be a Bandai make? How about one made by Yamato? How accurate do you want the toy to look? Are you willing to accept some fragility for good looks? Or are you willing to accept a bit of inaccuracy for sturdiness? You have to be more specific in order to give you the advice you want. And how about doing some of your own research? Try googling "Macross, toy, review" and start reading. Here's an excellent site for Macross toy reviews: www.anymoon.com

This site has listings of pretty much all of the modern Macross toys that Bandai has put out, along with reviews, both limited and regular release. It's a handy tool if you want to look something up for yourself. anymoon.com/blog/category/manufacturer/bandai/

I suggest the Hi-metal 1/100 1- these just came out this past year 2- can find them easily / search your favorite seller 3- these look good 4- small : fit all on 1 shelf 5- good for the cost I disagree because: 6- only have die-cast metal as the main torso skeleton frame and in the feet. The current "hi-metal" line by Bandai is only about 5% metal... 95% plastic. It's only called "hi-metal" because it's in the size and style of the old 80s series "HCM" toys.

That doesn't discount the fact that they're good toys with some diecast content.

Yep , but since the only other choice I can think of for TV / DYRL movie Valks are Bandai's 1/55 scale which are discontinued . Many are up on eBay. some are pricey. I think the 1/100 line does a better job of giving us an accurate version of the Valks. Of the TV / DYRL Valks the yamato 1/60 bandai 1/55 and bandai 1/100 work the best in my collection . I enjoyed Macross Frontier but the DX aren't for me. Yamato's 1/48 are great but too big for my collection.

I'm just pointing out that in all previous threads started by complicated that he's only interested in toys with major die-cast content (this seems to be true of every subsection of RJ he's posted in from the SoC section to Gundams).
Personally I love the tiny 1/100 scale - the plastic is sharp and crisp and for the application, suits the scale much better than die-cast would, IMHO. It's just that they don't seem like the right suggestion if someone really wants a heavy toy.
