i plan to make some Sega Genesis covers too...but what robot cartoons were NOT made into games from the Sega Genesis era?

Well.... I'm not familiar with the games of that time;
so, I'll shoot a wild guess: Voltron. I haven't seen any games
featuring that robot. Early Power Rangers mechas neither.
Ultraman? Just think how cool Those renditions would look
on cardboard! ;D

SNES=Ultraman,
Sega CD=MMPR
there's a list of games on Wikipedia, and i just gotta keep looking at anime, and then confering with the list..so far i have Samurai Pizza Cats.

you've never seen the cartoon? i used to watch it back around 1995. it was funny, and had cool armor on the cats, and their giant robo was nifty.

The game thread quickly became about games in general instead of ROBOT themed games, a shame really and the reason I never check it. I am still of the mind that the ultimate robot game has yet to exist. I have hopes for Gaiking but HFS how can such an obvious concept fail over and over again? Techromancer is fun I guess R.A.D had some great moments but it still seems like no one gets it. OMG, the Evangelion games?  UGH sooo bad. Transformers Cybertron I do enjoy, but I am more interested in MECHA. Especially SUPER ROBOT MECHA. I think the main problem is that the licenses are controlled by Japanese companies, and Japanese players will totally buy and play the most boring text driven cheap games simply because it features popular characters....SRW folks, I am looking at you with stink eyes. |

what about remote control dande its like playing tetsujin, or getter robo daikessen, exo squad for the genesis, cyberbots was a cool fighting game, what about omega boost, or gaogaigar blockaded numbers, or all the front mission games, their are lots of ultraman and kamen rider games as well as power ranger games out, but the best power ranger game i think was the power ranger fighting edition for the snes, get yourself a psp and you can play all the japanese roms and ps1 robot titles.

Yea but they were not GOOD. You like em because of the licensed characters. Because they have a built in draw, due to fans they skimp on quality.

For not being a gamer, I was quite impressed with
the Godzilla "Save The Earth" game that features
Jet Jaguar dukin it out with other monsters.
I can't remember which game (or PC?) platform
that game was on.

it would be a fun game! you are Benny, you chase the women, every time you catch one, you get a point, BUT you are being chased by police. If they catch you, you loose a life. I imagine it as a level game, like Keystone Capers.
