I need to snap a better pic (untilted, in focus, with proper background), but I just wanted to get a quick shot up. My older son took my posterboard backdrop and used it for a school project. The nerve!!

How did I miss this shot before? Great comparison shot. I love these, as they hardly get posted, and really help get the scale. Yeah, you gotta tell that kid that posterboard is for DAD's art projects. Silly kids.

Nice! Not to nitpick.. You have the shoulder pads on wrong on the BC version, and the X on the smaller DX is twisted 90deg What are the bottom 2?

The "ST is a pretty satisfying little heavy bot, with some gimmicks. I didn't realize until just recently checking Myles stash out, that those little unpainted diecast bots actually have some decent set of joints, and made of more parts than they look. I thought they were just little stamped out hunks of metal from pics.

Isn't this robot from the Starfleet X-Bomber puppet series? Damn ya got them all lined up in size-places... they're Awesome! This is the first time I see a robot in its full diecast toy line from large to small scale. From what I've read here, these are probably from one or two different manufacturers. Thanks for sharing, they ROCK! zozo-Magengar I need to snap a better pic (untilted, in focus, with proper background), but I just wanted to get a quick shot up. As far as I've known, they're all by Takatoku. I'll have to check those ol' TBDX datafiles. Kingboy"Da Brain" can chime in I'm sure.

Albert, you are so right. D'oh!!!! The worst part is that yesterday morning, before I even saw that anyone had posted on this topic, I reshot these pics with a proper backdrop, and I did not even notice these things. Therefore, all these shots are wasted. Now I buried these toys back in my shelf and don't know if I have the energy to dig them out and reshoot them. Bah! BTW, you NEED to make some ST repro parts. (The other two include amazing repros done by Albert). The three larger ones are all Takatoku, but the small one is Mark: toyboxdx.com/datafiles/data/mark/frame.html?images/bigdaix_box.jpgThere are even more Big Dai X versions, including a mini gokin and a plastic one by Takatoku, not to mention the Jumbo. I have the plastic one and JM, but did not incorporate them into the photo due to scale and condition. I guess its back to the drawing board - time to dig out the toys again and take proper photos.

Oh man, I forgot about the Jumbo, and that' s one of my favorites! Especially after seeing yours up on high shelves.
Quote: " I guess it's back to the drawing board- time to dig out the toys again and take proper photos." Yeah, what were you thinking, man? wahaha....but only if you get the posterboard back from your kids, heheh.
Also, gotta say, after seeing the repro parts Albert gets made up, I have to agree, GREAT LOOKING STUFF!

Thanks! Here's the updated photo (got new posterboard in both black and white - keeping these for myself). Still wish I had nicer versions of the toys, though.

Nice collection, I like those scale pictures. You would think sellers would give scale reference more often, and when they do, of course it is always in a centimeter ruler, as opposed to inches, lol. So again, being the idiot American I am (I blame our country for not using the metric system the rest of the known Universe uses), I find myself trying to figure out how many inches a 42 cm robot would be, lol. A simple cig pack or double A battery seems to give the best pic scale IMO....
