OK, I think this might be the first thread I've ever created... Wow! The reason I'm posting this here as opposed to the gallery section is because I want to see VINTAGE not a never ending plethora of SOCs that are all the same... Not that it's bad, but it's a monotony I cannot bear.. The title says it all. What is the favorite shelf in your collection?? This is not a pissing contest, and it's NOT about who has the most rare stuff, it's about the stuff you really love. It could be a shelf of beat down Gobots, but if the MEAN something to you then WIN!! My favorite shelf used to change from time to time until I finally just put a bunch of my favorite stuff all on ONE. FEEL the love... So, which is your favorite shelf? ?? I'll start:

What a phenomenal assortment! Gardian, set, Getter trio, Maz race car, Daiku Maryu, ... The Daltanias head, of course, is top notch. I've got one so I can appreciate it in person, but I'm missing the firing cockpit of the Delfighter. So what the F is that Getter 3? That thing is so crazy. I've got to really think about what my favorite shelf is. Mine are so long, and I really grouped things by show and such, so my individual favorites are scattered. I'll ponder this for a bit and post at weekend's end.

Erik is startin' a thread...holy cow! ;D Superb shelf. Fantastic mixture I like that! BTW...isn't vintage the (only) real thing? Ok that's only my totally subjective view... I tried to make a foto of my favorite shelf(s). Ok my today's favorite shelf. I have the same "problem" as you Erik, my favorite shelf changes from time to time...sometimes multiple times a day. But today...now..this is my favorite. I like it colorful and cramped! ....hmmmm, the Shogun Warriors shelf isn't bad too...I thing my favorite shelf changed this minute... P.S:: Sorry for the size of the picture, I thought a bit bigger is better - if you want to see some details...

Some SICK shelves there guys! For myself, I really have a thing for the Jumbo Grip series. I don't know why. I mean I certainly love the Gatchaman, since I grew up with the Sandy Frank show, but even some of the others that I never heard of have something that just draws me in.

Great shelf Bill! What about the box on the left side (purple, with big typo) with the 3 Jumbos inside. Is that a kind of "shipping box"? I have seen a similar box for the "small" Grip Zabitan (Akumaizer) on Yahoo.

Another great shelf! Those Time bokans are sweet. chogoman, I believe those cases are how they were shipped out. I imagine a big brown case with a few of those packs being sent to the stores back in the days. I've also seen the little ones just clear wrapped with 10 random grips.

Oh sure , you have to start this thread while I'm still traveling. Great topic, and pix from you loonies. I loves me some colorful funky vintageness. Myles, and Jack berated and beat me with half cooked Pad Thai noodles over dinner, about my not contributing enough, so I promise I'll share when I get home! Haha

Hey, we never said you didn't contribute enough! I just said I didn't recall ever seeing pics of your collection (which is certainly your right not to post). But if you are going to throw up a shot of your favorite shelf, then I'm excited to see. I'll try to get snapping of my own favorite tonight.

I've seen some really cool pics of John's collection. He puts the boxes in there and everything. Love to see more. Well, guys, what can I say? AWESOME PICS!! Stephan's shelves just floor me. Bill-san's minimal Grip awesomeness is SICK. And Edwardo's TT shelf has my all time favorite toy in it, Combat Action Goshogun amid a flurry of incredible pieces.. OK, as this thread is not getting much traction, I'll throw one more into the mix:

Since I threw up the Zenmai shelf up above I figured, what the hell, I might as well throw up my favorite Bullmark Kaiju shelf as well:
