What about some good old Mattel Shogun Warriors stuff Ed? Or classic popy chogokins?
Shoguns are still very important for me...because of them and the Ark toys I started collecting japanese robots.

So with limited space, one must think of different ways to display. I've been rotating a shelf of random stuff lately and here is what is currently on show.

MylesIneedthatGatchamanMFVonthebottomshelfffffff!!!!!Gah! So glad I got to see a group of those DiosaurHunter vehicles in person. So gaget-y.
Stephan, I'll try to round up some Shoguns too.
Dylan, nice on the rotate-o-matic. That does make it fresh now n' then. You got that Diapolon trike! So funny that the robot is the worst part of those toys. ;0) The diecast trike itself rules.

Great shelves guys. I love shelves of random robots. On a personal level it's hard for me to appreciate a specific robot persona when it's nested among a dozen renditions of the same guy. Of course it's all in the eye the beholder but a shelf of a dozen Mazingers sort of washes out the coolness and individuality of what makes him iconic and memorable. This is probably why I have a hard time appreciating any version of RX-78-2. It's all just another Gundam on the pile, so to speak.

We didn't really have much time to dwell on these. I love those trikes. I'm only missing the Tekkaman one. (I used to have a photo, but I must have removed it from Phtobucket)

You guys are great! An old shot, but I always loved the sorta' symetry of the black shelf, with one big DX vintage bot, with one little smaller, but color-complimentary looking bot next to it, on each of the shelves.

Old pic, but a goodie. This is a real old pic of my setup which is now all boxed up for years. i no longer have my display case since I moved up and around the Bay Area. Haven't done much collecting lately, just lurking here daily and on TBDX. Maybe purchasing just one or two robots a year. Nice to see new and OG members still on the Dark Side (vintage crew). -Mike

WOW - great collection! I love the presentation. So much stuff I want (NEED) in there - both color Baragon Bullpets, the Machine Blaster heads, ...
That 8-Chan vehicle looks huge!
Great case, BTW. Hope its in a garage or storage and you didn't leave it behind in the move.

Love that Mikey. It's nice to see a little different content, where sure, there's super robots there, but a huge amount of what you see is the silly, goofy, cute diecast stuff, w/ the wacky characters, animalized vehichles, and secret bases.
