So how do they stack up against each other?
Figuarts seem to come out a bit faster and are more show acurate, whereas the Kiwami's seem more detailed and organic looking. Anyone have a few of both? Which do you prefer?

yup dead has it nailed except for one thing, figuarts are a lot more articulated than kiwami. Its all about what you want though and if size is a factor, I for one like the details of the sic figures but im not into the size that much. I really only get kiwami if i missed out on the regular sic relase since they are hard and very expensive to get when you miss out on the first time, and i get figuarts when they arent in SIC form

Scale: S.H. Figuarts figures are generally roughly 6" tall(N-Daguba-Zeba and Kuuga Ultimate Form are somewhat taller) while S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii figures are roughly 4.25" tall.
Visual design: SHF is basically accurate to the source material(ie. costume designs for Kamen Rider figures) while S.I.C. KT use re-imagined/re-vamped designs as KT is a downscaled version of S.I.C. figures, which is a line all about re-imagining classic tokusatsu character designs.
Articulation: SHF possess arguably the best articulation engineering of any currently produced action figure line. The use of diecast metal in the figures, usually in the legs, also add to stability. S.I.C. KT figures have good articulation, though not anywhere as good as SHF. However, considering the small scale of KT figures, what articulation they possess is remarkable, especially compared to any other action figures of the same or similar scale.
Accessories: SHF has more releases and the amount of accessories included with the figures varies but it can be as sparse as a pair of hands to several pairs of hands, multiple weapons, and alternate face/head parts. KT figures have fewer accessories, though at such a small scale, it may be better to have fewer tiny parts to misplace.
Cost: At current exchange rates, SHF figures are $30 USD on average while S.I.C. KT figures are $12 on average.
Both action figure lines have much to offer the collector. I actively collect both lines but for different reasons.
When I want figures that are accurate to the characters they represent and have the articulation ability to be posed to recreate the character's iconic poses, SHF is what I look to.
When I want affordable figures of familiar characters but with an interesting twist, S.I.C. KT is the action figure line of choice for me.
Both figure lines are great for display, which is the primary purpose of my action figure collection.

Kiwami figures stand about a head higher that a small GIJoe. Not as compatible as the late Motion Revive series, but they do make cool additions to a Joe-verse
